Huh
Istg I had posted this already. Why is it still only in my text box
Unfortunately
the standards are just explicit on this, you can't just link the verse page, that's how things used to work (ie ult madoka)

Oh welp
Here comes the biggest combined power bulletpoint
I expected something along the lines of god>nihility collapse chaos>abyss of hell nep layers scaling tbh
Wanted to make a separate thread for Chaos > Abyss tbh
After this one
Chaos has its own layers with derivation, so I can't just put that big of a topic in miscellaneous
I mean, ig, but that's just a poor way to phrase it then, like giving a character resistance to magic due to having magic resistance and not elaborating on what that magic resistance is, when magic in verse is like, a trillion different things.
There's no really good way to format it off the top of my head, and by right and that reasoning, you shouldn't really list any of those other other aspects either, since they are part of what phenomena is
Fair. Though I've seen a decent amount of characters (mostly Chinamen) having in-verse aspects listed too.
Hmm, would creating a page or section in general page to explain everything phenomena encompasses be better?
If you want my thoughts on how to format it, it'd just be to go like
Sure. I'll go with this.
Give an explanation as to what phenomena is, why it encompasses everything in the verse, and explain the existence of things that phenomena encompasses that are listed there, and state how phenomena includes things beyond just what is listed due to it's nature, or smth along those lines, idk, can't find a page with an example of the sort of "and many more" powers things I was thinking of when I was writing this down
^^
ig, feels different on the basis of magic being like, a power system than a singular power itself, I don't think people would give like, a time stop npi for being able to time stop a ghost
True
But not all time stops can effect concept and informational beings, especially NEP beings that lack the regular notion of space time (since SW stops time on all "possible" worlds).
Alr
I'll list your vote as such when I being counting.

You could say it's a combination of both, not just one.
Veldora specifically said he was "nearly invincible(immortal)", but now he's truly so. I don't see the problem here.
Since when has regeneration and resurrection been accepted in the Soul Corridor?
It's only accepted thanks to the Veldora skill. Not "Soul Corridor."
No??
Please read the description on Rimuru's profile -_-
It is specifically for the corridor
The fact that the Soul Corridor transcends space-time is irrelevant;
Why?
Info particles transcend space time and so do soul corridors. Is it really that hard to see the correlation here.
if one dies, nothing can be done.
You aren't even addressing the argument. Why would SW stop infon Regen??
Veldora cannot move or act; he cannot revive Rimuru.
Prove that. Because he did move in V19, and Rimuru did say Veldora would revive him via the corridor. Read the scans...
Volume 23 is a special case because it wasn't completely destroyed; its ego remained, which is why it was able to act to revive him.
....
Rimuru was COMPLETELY destroyed by Velda's attack. It's just that he had a backup, that being the soul corridor, which contained a copy of his ego and personality as a backup. Rimuru even empathized this by saying he could in a sense be called a fake.
There's something called a script, but I won't drag this out too much.
Okay
Furthermore, why do you interpret "next time" as a denial of the Suspended World?
Because if it's not a denial the he can just revive instantly, instead of "next time".
If he always says he'll revive, why don't you interpret it as their next encounter?
Because that "revival" and "next together" imply he's giving up on defeating Michael for now. That implies he can't just INSTANTLY recover, he has to wait till SW is deactivated. That's what happened with Diablo too.
If we assume Veldora can move, he can revive Rimuru, but not in the same place; rather, wherever Veldora himself is. We have no evidence that he revives in the same place where he died.
He has the coordinates of where he died. Let's assume for your sake that he revives somewhere else, that still doesn't matter cuz he can spatial transfer to where he died instantly. But the fact that Rimuru and Michael have to postpone their revival is because SW interferes with said revival for as long as it's activated, but because it can't be activated forever, Rimuru will eventually revive when it's over.
We repeat the same pattern; this is not denial, it is a weakness of the characters or a lack of ability.
Then let's take away immortality negation from everyone cuz the person they are negating the immortality of just lacks the ability to counter their revival negation...
What does that have to do with anything? Diablo can't move in the Suspended World. I accepted Diablo's status as a Type 4 character because of Michael's statement, not for any other reason.
There's no proof that he can resurrect/regenerate in the Suspended World, and that doesn't mean it negate his immortality.
Argument from ignorance? You haven't addressed the argument about infon regeneration eikichi...
Soul corridor is of the same lvl.
A useless scan?
It doesn't mention that they're immortal like "Veldora" or that they'll be resurrected because of it. Veldora and Velgrynd's case is special because they acquired abilities from "them."
Not because of "Soul Corridor."
For the love of Veldanava, SOUL CORRIDOR IS ACCEPTED AS HGR. If you have a problem with that then make a thread... Don't use the "but I disagree with it being HGR" when it's already accepted.
No. What is accepted is that as long as Veldora exists, he can revive; this is due to Veldora's ability, not anything else.
Sigh
I will quote this for you since you seen to refuse to open the page:
Resurrection &
Immortality (
High-Godly,
Types 2,
4 &
8; Can survive complete physical destruction, and is capable of reincarnating if he somehow dies due to being a
Spiritual Lifeform.
Can resurrect as long as Veldora exists. Rimuru believed he could be
revived from an attack that "killed" Diablo, despite him being able to
instantly come back from having his information destroyed.
Soul Corridor are implied to be better than Infinite Regeneration that makes him capable of regenerating from complete information erasure. On top of that, Veldora stated that he finally has become "
immortal" only after gaining Soul Corridor, although he can
come back from concept destruction before)
Now, what does this say? Does it say the rating is for Veldora or for soul corridor?
Again if you have a thing against this then make a thread for it.
Some time back we tried physics Manipulation for magic but it was shut down because magic is already physics Manipulation
Physics manip is a possible use of magic as a general ability. Much like how EE is a sub application of Void Manip, but both can overlap on the same profile for different reasoning.
I don't have any strong opinions on anything else but this. Where was it stated that VotW granted the abilities instead of announcing the results of the individual's acquisition?
Volume 16 and 19
It would be odd to say VotW granted Rimuru Void Collapse and other abilities BUT Veldanava could not grant himself the same or similar abilities using the VotW.
Veldanava couldn't even use all abilities when he reincarnated. Why would he even be able to utilize VoTW
V23C5 goes into detail how Veldanava's own system turned against him because he chose to love one (Lucia) over all else.
The VotW are the laws governing the world, but it doesn't have any abilities, skills, or consciousness itself to use/make/grant/DO anything so adding this in the profile is redundant and practically untrue.
The VoTW is
self sentient, insomuch as being capable of asking someone questions (like when it asked masayuki a question whether to activate a skill or not) or determining when qualifications are met to proceed with an evolution or power bestowal, so no. It's not untrue.
During the process of using magic and skills, you translate a wish into something the world language can understand, and then the world language realizes that phenomena for you.
