Soul corridor allows for hgr (information included). Information is already unaffected by soul corridor. Soul corrieodre already transcend space time. What are you getting at?
Since when has regeneration and resurrection been accepted in the Soul Corridor?

It's only accepted thanks to the Veldora skill. Not "Soul Corridor."

The fact that the Soul Corridor transcends space-time is irrelevant; if one dies, nothing can be done. Veldora cannot move or act; he cannot revive Rimuru.

Volume 23 is a special case because it wasn't completely destroyed; its ego remained, which is why it was able to act to revive him.
How is that not a good argument??

He couldn't??? He literally did in Volume 21. He did not evolve anywhere between V16 and V21...
There's something called a script, but I won't drag this out too much.

Furthermore, why do you interpret "next time" as a denial of the Suspended World?

If he always says he'll revive, why don't you interpret it as their next encounter?

If we assume Veldora can move, he can revive Rimuru, but not in the same place; rather, wherever Veldora himself is. We have no evidence that he revives in the same place where he died.
That doesn't mean he should be completely disregarded. Even Ciel sympathized with him, and Chloe came to help just do Rimuru could survive. Here. I've also attached the Diablo scan.

Also, no, he already knows the soul corridor will resurrect him. Yet he still says what he says.
We repeat the same pattern; this is not denial, it is a weakness of the characters or a lack of ability.
That would ONLY matter if not for the fact that Diablo can regenerate his heart core too.... You do know what a heart core is made up of, right?
Sure Magicule based abilities or Regen won't work, but what will that do go if you're regenerating the heart core instead.... Why will time stop prevent infon Regen when infons are the very thing capable of moving in it?
That's the entire reason it's negation here.
What does that have to do with anything? Diablo can't move in the Suspended World. I accepted Diablo's status as a Type 4 character because of Michael's statement, not for any other reason.

There's no proof that he can resurrect/regenerate in the Suspended World, and that doesn't mean it negate his immortality.
If it ain't then we'll just add it.
Here
A useless scan?

It doesn't mention that they're immortal like "Veldora" or that they'll be resurrected because of it. Veldora and Velgrynd's case is special because they acquired abilities from "them."

Not because of "Soul Corridor."
Because they don't want to disappoint rimuru....
Do you think someone like Diablo will let himself he defeated just to get carried by Rimuru? Hell na, that goes against his character entirely

It is already accepted that soul corridor grants HGR.
No. What is accepted is that as long as Veldora exists, he can revive; this is due to Veldora's ability, not anything else.

This was the crt that approve hgr for soul corridor. You are welcome

With his blessing, I transplanted Veldora’s spiritual body—his heart, as it were—from my Stomach to the Enhanced Replication. He didn’t even have an astral body at the moment, making the operation very unstable, although it’d gradually rebuild itself as part of Veldora’s spiritual life process. My Replication should be the final defense he needed for now…or so I thought.

Report. I have an important development to share.

Whatever Raphael had, it sounded important. Something to do with Veldora, perhaps.

Report. I have confirmed the establishment of a “soul corridor” between my master and the individual Veldora. After consuming the remains of the individual Veldora and analyzing them, I have obtained the ultimate skill Veldora, Lord of the Storm.

That was some pretty heady crap that Raphael was reporting on, as if it was the day’s weather. So shocking that I lost my words for a moment. Apparently, Belzebuth consumed the dregs of Veldora that remained in my Stomach, obtaining part of its powers for itself. This firmed up the link between our souls, transforming it into this new power.

The ultimate skill Veldora consisted of Summon Storm Dragon, Restore Storm Dragon, and a family of storm-related magic. Summon Storm Dragon called forth Veldora in dragon form, the way I remembered him. He was a spiritual life-form now, but once he was fully recovered, I should be able to summon him in that shape as well. I can summon only one dragon at a time; if I summon another, the first one disappears. Maybe I could take advantage of this for transport purposes? It seemed feasible.

Restore Storm Dragon copied Veldora’s memories into my own mind. In other words, if Veldora died for some reason, I could replace him—or, to put it another way, the “real” Veldora would reside within my own soul. That was what allowed me to summon him whenever I wanted, I suppose.

The storm magic granted me access to Death-Calling Wind, Dark Lightning, and Storm of Destruction. These were all incredibly powerful spells, not at all the sort you’d find in a grimoire down at the local library, so it was a nice bonus.

That rounded out the set, and to sum up, it meant Veldora was using me as a kind of backup. Which I didn’t mind, especially if it unlocked all of Veldora’s skills for me.

“A ‘soul corridor’?” Veldora asked. “So all my memories and experiences are gathered in your mind, regardless of where we are in time and space. As long as you do not cease to exist, I am immortal. If I am subjected to Unlimited Imprisonment, you can simply resummon me to spring me out. I was once nearly invincible, but now I see I’ve been granted eternal life as well.”

Wow. Really? Like, that totally seems like cheating. Although it assumes I’ll manage to keep myself alive going forward. Still, crazy. I could create these situations, like— Ha-ha! You thought you could take me? Well, check out this storm dragon I just happened to

have bumping around in my pocket! Heh-heh-heh. I almost felt bad for my rivals. Talk about the ultimate ace in the hole.

With that soul-corridor connection, changes began to occur within Veldora. With his heart linked up to my soul, he had lost all his vulnerabilities. In a single moment, both his astral and spiritual bodies were regenerated, giving him new life in his original, complete form.
You could say it's a combination of both, not just one.

Read from this post onwards in the accepted thread.
Kk
Well, we're going by linking the verse page, since his pre Descent self has all skills/magic from ALL characters from the entire verse. They already have their powers mentioned.

Eventually I plan to make his own version of description for those abilities since he has infinitely better versions, but this is a for now measure.
Unfortunately the standards are just explicit on this, you can't just link the verse page, that's how things used to work (ie ult madoka)
I did bring nilhity collapse tho? Xd
I expected something along the lines of god>nihility collapse chaos>abyss of hell nep layers scaling tbh
Phenomena is an in-verse term to refer to any process that happens. That includes even Void Collapse itself, which is also an "Event/Phenomena".

Basically it's a way to give him NEP on the entire verse and anything in it 🤔
I mean, ig, but that's just a poor way to phrase it then, like giving a character resistance to magic due to having magic resistance and not elaborating on what that magic resistance is, when magic in verse is like, a trillion different things.

There's no really good way to format it off the top of my head, and by right and that reasoning, you shouldn't really list any of those other other aspects either, since they are part of what phenomena is

If you want my thoughts on how to format it, it'd just be to go like
Nonexistence Physiology (Nature Type 2, All Aspects [Others: Phenomena [Space & Time, Law & Causality, Life & Death, Fate & History, Probability, etc)
Give an explanation as to what phenomena is, why it encompasses everything in the verse, and explain the existence of things that phenomena encompasses that are listed there, and state how phenomena includes things beyond just what is listed due to it's nature, or smth along those lines, idk, can't find a page with an example of the sort of "and many more" powers things I was thinking of when I was writing this down
Magic has it accepted, even tho it's a power ¯\(ツ)/¯
ig, feels different on the basis of magic being like, a power system than a singular power itself, I don't think people would give like, a time stop npi for being able to time stop a ghost
Sure.

I assume you agree on everything else you didn't bring up as well?
Yeah

VoTW/World Language
The current AP justification is:

But it's repetitive and unnecessarily lengthy. Trim it down to:

Additionally, it was accepted in this thread that VoTW holds all skills and grants them. All phenomena realized by skills and magic is done through the World Language. So it should have something similar to Veldanava:
I don't have any strong opinions on anything else but this. Where was it stated that VotW granted the abilities instead of announcing the results of the individual's acquisition? It would be odd to say VotW granted Rimuru Void Collapse and other abilities BUT Veldanava could not grant himself the same or similar abilities using the VotW. The VotW are the laws governing the world, but it doesn't have any abilities, skills, or consciousness itself to use/make/grant/DO anything so adding this in the profile is redundant and practically untrue.

Huh
Istg I had posted this already. Why is it still only in my text box 😭
Unfortunately the standards are just explicit on this, you can't just link the verse page, that's how things used to work (ie ult madoka)
😭
Oh welp
Here comes the biggest combined power bulletpoint
I expected something along the lines of god>nihility collapse chaos>abyss of hell nep layers scaling tbh
Wanted to make a separate thread for Chaos > Abyss tbh
After this one
Chaos has its own layers with derivation, so I can't just put that big of a topic in miscellaneous
I mean, ig, but that's just a poor way to phrase it then, like giving a character resistance to magic due to having magic resistance and not elaborating on what that magic resistance is, when magic in verse is like, a trillion different things.

There's no really good way to format it off the top of my head, and by right and that reasoning, you shouldn't really list any of those other other aspects either, since they are part of what phenomena is
Fair. Though I've seen a decent amount of characters (mostly Chinamen) having in-verse aspects listed too.
Hmm, would creating a page or section in general page to explain everything phenomena encompasses be better?
If you want my thoughts on how to format it, it'd just be to go like
Sure. I'll go with this.
Give an explanation as to what phenomena is, why it encompasses everything in the verse, and explain the existence of things that phenomena encompasses that are listed there, and state how phenomena includes things beyond just what is listed due to it's nature, or smth along those lines, idk, can't find a page with an example of the sort of "and many more" powers things I was thinking of when I was writing this down
^^
ig, feels different on the basis of magic being like, a power system than a singular power itself, I don't think people would give like, a time stop npi for being able to time stop a ghost
True
But not all time stops can effect concept and informational beings, especially NEP beings that lack the regular notion of space time (since SW stops time on all "possible" worlds).
Alr
I'll list your vote as such when I being counting.

You could say it's a combination of both, not just one.
Veldora specifically said he was "nearly invincible(immortal)", but now he's truly so. I don't see the problem here.
Since when has regeneration and resurrection been accepted in the Soul Corridor?

It's only accepted thanks to the Veldora skill. Not "Soul Corridor."
No??
Please read the description on Rimuru's profile -_-
It is specifically for the corridor
The fact that the Soul Corridor transcends space-time is irrelevant;
Why?
Info particles transcend space time and so do soul corridors. Is it really that hard to see the correlation here.
if one dies, nothing can be done.
You aren't even addressing the argument. Why would SW stop infon Regen??
Veldora cannot move or act; he cannot revive Rimuru.
Prove that. Because he did move in V19, and Rimuru did say Veldora would revive him via the corridor. Read the scans...
Volume 23 is a special case because it wasn't completely destroyed; its ego remained, which is why it was able to act to revive him.
....
Rimuru was COMPLETELY destroyed by Velda's attack. It's just that he had a backup, that being the soul corridor, which contained a copy of his ego and personality as a backup. Rimuru even empathized this by saying he could in a sense be called a fake.
There's something called a script, but I won't drag this out too much.
Okay
Furthermore, why do you interpret "next time" as a denial of the Suspended World?
Because if it's not a denial the he can just revive instantly, instead of "next time".
If he always says he'll revive, why don't you interpret it as their next encounter?
Because that "revival" and "next together" imply he's giving up on defeating Michael for now. That implies he can't just INSTANTLY recover, he has to wait till SW is deactivated. That's what happened with Diablo too.
If we assume Veldora can move, he can revive Rimuru, but not in the same place; rather, wherever Veldora himself is. We have no evidence that he revives in the same place where he died.
He has the coordinates of where he died. Let's assume for your sake that he revives somewhere else, that still doesn't matter cuz he can spatial transfer to where he died instantly. But the fact that Rimuru and Michael have to postpone their revival is because SW interferes with said revival for as long as it's activated, but because it can't be activated forever, Rimuru will eventually revive when it's over.
We repeat the same pattern; this is not denial, it is a weakness of the characters or a lack of ability.
Then let's take away immortality negation from everyone cuz the person they are negating the immortality of just lacks the ability to counter their revival negation...

Argument from ignorance? You haven't addressed the argument about infon regeneration eikichi...
Soul corridor is of the same lvl.
A useless scan?

It doesn't mention that they're immortal like "Veldora" or that they'll be resurrected because of it. Veldora and Velgrynd's case is special because they acquired abilities from "them."

Not because of "Soul Corridor."
For the love of Veldanava, SOUL CORRIDOR IS ACCEPTED AS HGR. If you have a problem with that then make a thread... Don't use the "but I disagree with it being HGR" when it's already accepted.
No. What is accepted is that as long as Veldora exists, he can revive; this is due to Veldora's ability, not anything else.
Sigh
I will quote this for you since you seen to refuse to open the page:
Resurrection & Immortality (High-Godly, Types 2, 4 & 8; Can survive complete physical destruction, and is capable of reincarnating if he somehow dies due to being a Spiritual Lifeform. Can resurrect as long as Veldora exists. Rimuru believed he could be revived from an attack that "killed" Diablo, despite him being able to instantly come back from having his information destroyed. Soul Corridor are implied to be better than Infinite Regeneration that makes him capable of regenerating from complete information erasure. On top of that, Veldora stated that he finally has become "immortal" only after gaining Soul Corridor, although he can come back from concept destruction before)
Now, what does this say? Does it say the rating is for Veldora or for soul corridor?

Again if you have a thing against this then make a thread for it.
Some time back we tried physics Manipulation for magic but it was shut down because magic is already physics Manipulation
Physics manip is a possible use of magic as a general ability. Much like how EE is a sub application of Void Manip, but both can overlap on the same profile for different reasoning.
I don't have any strong opinions on anything else but this. Where was it stated that VotW granted the abilities instead of announcing the results of the individual's acquisition?
Volume 16 and 19
It would be odd to say VotW granted Rimuru Void Collapse and other abilities BUT Veldanava could not grant himself the same or similar abilities using the VotW.
Veldanava couldn't even use all abilities when he reincarnated. Why would he even be able to utilize VoTW
V23C5 goes into detail how Veldanava's own system turned against him because he chose to love one (Lucia) over all else.
The VotW are the laws governing the world, but it doesn't have any abilities, skills, or consciousness itself to use/make/grant/DO anything so adding this in the profile is redundant and practically untrue.
The VoTW is self sentient, insomuch as being capable of asking someone questions (like when it asked masayuki a question whether to activate a skill or not) or determining when qualifications are met to proceed with an evolution or power bestowal, so no. It's not untrue.

During the process of using magic and skills, you translate a wish into something the world language can understand, and then the world language realizes that phenomena for you.

Huh
Istg I had posted this already. Why is it still only in my text box 😭
Lots of text, anyway, it's never mentioned that it's only because of "Soul Corridor". I already made this thread, you can read it if you like.

I have a question: Why do you agree with the Negation of immortality?
I mean, effectively, it's immo neg one way or another, either through negating a power that gives it or just negating the immortality
Idrc or are knowledgeable enough in the series to go one way or the other, so I'd call myself neutral at worst, honestly, but I haven't read through the rest of the thread (entirely when I said that I was tired asf and I know my vote doesn't matter in the long run as a non-staff, so I can get away with that and leave reading the thread as a whole to the staff)
😭
Oh welp
Here comes the biggest combined power bulletpoint
Honestly, you could just make it a separate tabber under the post descent key
Fair. Though I've seen a decent amount of characters (mostly Chinamen) having in-verse aspects listed too.
Hmm, would creating a page or section in general page to explain everything phenomena encompasses be better?
I mean to be completely honest, listing the aspects 5 covers isn't actually needed. I don't know where the trend came from, but it isn't a requirement
Anyways uh, I think it'd belong on a preexisting terminology/explanation page if it's applicable somewhere else, but if it isn't, you can just put it on the great holy spirit's page alone
But not all time stops can effect concept and informational beings, especially NEP beings that lack the regular notion of space time (since SW stops time on all "possible" worlds).
ig, yeah

  • Veldanava
  • VoTW/World Language
  • For such cases, there should be a proper list, from the editing rules; maybe link the relevant sections for the magic and skills page could work for some abilities.
    • Characters that inherit their powers and abilities from a significant amount of other notable characters in their verses shouldn't list powers from these sources as "All the powers in the series", "All powers of group x", or similar. For one thing, this can easily be incomplete due to that not all of the relevant character have been indexed, but it also becomes much harder for our visitors to find all of the implied powers from the recurrently wide amount of involved pages that they would have to check through. Instead, such cases should directly mention all of the respective powers, along with the justifications for inheriting them, their reasoning, and which characters that they come from.
The current updated OP looks fine for the rest.
