I think this is necessary to clear up since this adds some context to my report

It's not even about the discussion; it is just him refusing to acknowledge when told that he is wrong and misleading. He didn't even check the verse page where Slimereader is explicitly stated to be an accepted source... (Nor accepted it when told, and warned about it)

Due to the recurring issue of misleading or dishonest machine-translated (edited-MTL) content within this verse (both WN and LN), particularly when used to support major arguments or upgrades, the use of human-edited MTLs is strictly prohibited unless they are verified by one of the official Translation Helpers (TLs) or a user with proven fluency in Japanese. However, exceptions may be made for human-edited MTLs originating from well-regarded and trusted sources that show no signs of intentional misrepresentation or manipulation, such as Slime Reader. This is to ensure accuracy, consistency, and prevent misinterpretation or manipulation of source material. Any future CRTs or profile changes that use unverified human-edited MTLs will be considered invalid and subject to reversal.

So far, all he has done is act like this ever since he came back... And yes, this is only a discussion in the first place since he is just straight up repeating and complaining about the same stuff wherever he goes (and the only thing he does on the site) even when being proven and told otherwise.

Jerry59 caused the unfounded deletion of an adequate page that used accepted calcs, proper formatting, and maybe minor problems that could have been touched up with a quick edit at most, it seems like spite to destroy another user's work.

Your work is still safe in your sandbox. the Powers & Abilities and Speed section did not contain any scans, and the profile lacked references, both of which cannot be fixed with some additional work by random users. Stamina section also uses invalid ratings such as "high". You are expected to publish complete profiles, not ones that are only halfway finished.

Nah, it was perfectly serviceable for 95% of people who read it, but it's clear nothing will ever be learned from how many users burn out chasing the obtuse and neurotic new interpretations of rules that get made up every month, so I am done trying with this absolute BS.

The page quite literally is piss poor in quality.

"Wall level (Able to completely shatter barrels through physical blows.)" With the link in question directing to the References for Common Feats, but not the feat in question(???). The whole justification has 0 of his feats shown. Same with the rest of the statistics.

Anyone can read it and understand it, but literally nobody will be able to understand where any of the ratings actually come from because you don't use any scans or references. It's not obtuse, it's quite literally basic and proper etiquette.

No, asking for profiles to be complete before being published has been a standard since pretty early on, I'm not sure where you're getting that this is a new interpretation of a rule.

All you have to do is apply some of the criticisms before release and then publish it again once you're done.

Scans are not a hard requirement, but our rules do absolutely require references. If the page had no references, users are in a position where they cannot reliably source them themselves (barring some familiarity) and, even if they can, it's a very time consuming process to find everything referenced in the profile, especially if it also lacked scans (which are really nice to have, just not a matter of deletion if it lacks them).

This is not a rule violation, but it also doesn't mean your profile sucks or whatever. Just publish it with references.

Its mainly the simple site rules of 3 moderators approval being needed. If you have 1 disagreement then its not an issue unless its 2 disagreement in which case you need 4 approval to out veto the opposition.

Also saying staff not knowing the work is abit disrespectful as it calls into question their evaluation abilities. Its up to the supporters to fully explain their stance if the staff member does not understand your point.

I did not manipulate the votes. What I said does not mean that I was going to ignore the votes; that is simply your assumption and is not supported by any evidence. Also, I did not expect that you would come and report me because of that comment. I happened to pass by here by coincidence and saw you reporting me.

The thread ended well, the revisions were applied, and no problems occurred at all.

I am not questioning his ability to evaluate or his expertise at all. I only said that he is not very familiar with this series, and that is not diminishing his ability to evaluate in any way. I also explained the matter to him myself. I know that the responsibility of explaining falls on the supporters, and I did that, and the discussion ended well. You just like creating problems over things that did not happen.

This is a character battle discussion thread, not a content review thread. I was not aware that versus battles were considered official as well.

Also, the moderator could have simply deleted the comment, and I do not see any need for you to report me here.
