Honestly AFO's biggest problem is his propensity for monologing and Pain's ability to resurrect the Paths, but that's probably not happening more than once to be honest.

If he sees that happen, he’d just super destroy the Naraka Path and then probably try to find Nagato. Because he’s a genius and would probably come to the conclusion that all of these bodies are being controlled by someone else. And considering his senses allow him to perceive people kilometers away through terrain, Nagato is getting found for sure.

Honestly at this point I think Madara would be a better choice to use against AFO with his Susano'o restricted obviously, but still.

I don't think Madara can even use Genjutsu on him since AFO doesn't have eyes and the only point he gets eyes is when time is literally being rewinded on his existence, meaning he'd just snap out of it near instantly.
