One Piece new chapter spoilers thread

Legit impossible. I'm a Luffy fan. And a truth fan... If I were a Shanks fan, I would have said Shanks low diffs Mihawk... But in truth that doesn't make sense story or statement wise. Feat wise however, is a different story, which a Shanks fan would only reference.
Sure, whatever you say.

I could easily see mihawk having relations to royalty or Imu, his eyes are not normal... He has ancient/old eyes like Imu and Zunesha
That's pretty reasonable.

Someone on Twitter brought up how Robin has similar eyes in certain panels.

I miss Robin.

Now that I'm looking back, her eyes have a lot of meanings and "power" to them

Her right eye (from our pov) might be royalty (focusing in on it with her past memories), and then her left eye used to be normal, which got probably changed through Imu... Hinting at it with the top left panel

I admit, even I was looking at those other Mihawk fans crazy when they said he was related to Imu/former Holy Knight. But after this chapter, now I'm finally starting to wonder if there really is some kind of connection between them. Them both having a black blade is one thing, but the same attack is ODD!

Saw someone comparing Mihawk as the bum of Imu's family, as in the same way Sommer is the bum of the Shepherds. Complete with the painted black blade gag.

Even when he might have a connection to the Main Antagonist, Mihawk is still catching strays 💀

Meh. It just from people coping over their anti-Mihawk agendas failing lol.

With all the Mihawk callbacks I wonder if maybe Mihawk somehow "became" a devil since Imu does talk about how power always comes at a sacrifice (I still think 'Devils Fruit' is a different thing, Imu isn't a Mythical Zoan imo). Mihawk was introduced on a literal coffin carrying a giant cross (sword) on his back so maybe Zoro's "King of Hell" title is meant to be another nod, he's literally becoming the new king of hell via becoming the WSS

Poor Loki. I really hope that Luffy is able to save him. 🙏🙁

Maybe the others can weaken Imu by destroying the steel hearts of his servants, the two god knights? 🙏

They are evenly matched, no one has the advantage here.
Going by the above scans, Loki was able to slow Imu down, but was quite quickly defeated by being impaled by a gigantic sword. 🙏

He was impaled by the sword but then he recovered and attacked Imu back and after that transformed into his zoan form attacking Imu where the chapter ends. So he didn't take a lot of damage from that sword attack and he definitely wasn't defeated, the fight is still ongoing.

Oh. Good that Loki's dragon form allows him some degree of healing and recovery. 🙏

It's probably resilience rather than healing similar to what Kaido, Whitebeard and many One Piece characters have. Also the unofficial translations are out btw.

Does this mean Loki powercliffed the old gen?
no.

He's still relative but weaker than Kaido and Shanks.

Prime WB, Garp, and Roger are still untouched

Idk where the "powercliff" even comes from, besides if you somehow think god valley = prime old gen, which isn't the case.

Loki seems to have high potential tho, being or having something that was in the time of Joyboy... I can potentially see him reaching higher than the old gen if given the opportunity

Depending on how loki does against Imu, he may surpass the old gen, but he still got defeated by shanks and most of the people in god valley didnt reach their prime until decades later.
