Dragon Ball: Soul Manipulation Part 2

How about some "Limited Soul Manipulation and resistance" but not something along the lines of "Soul destruction and resistance to that" outside of Hakai
Yeah, I still haven't seen anything for the characters completely being able to destroy souls.

(The example cited in the OP with Vegeta dying twice doesn't seem to be a product of Ki Manipulation, but just the literal effect of what happens when a dead person dies again)

That isn't really what this whole thread was for, it's also not what Griffin stated given that you shared the same thoughts at him. If this is what you'd like to propose though, that constitutes an entirely separate debate. Also limited soul damage resistance isn't even in the OP nor has anyone really argued for that for the entire thread, so to bring it up now is strange.

I'm trying to understand the OP a bit, who would be getting Soul Manip from this? Is it literally anyone that can use ki?

I'm confused. Why would it be limited soul manipulation? Not to mention, possibly doesn't even make any sense here since it wasn't proposed. What reasons would it be a possibly instead of a solid rating? Didn't you agree with griffin, who also agreed with a solid rating?

Spirit Control = Ki Control
Spirit = Soul (as established in the first part of this CRT)
Cloning = Spirit Splitting = Soul Splitting
Destroying Clones = Spirit Damaging = Soul Damaging
So Granolah takes damage from Gas destroying his clones. Because Gas' Ki attacks are dealing Soul Damage.

This is not 'headcanon'. This is a very straightforward understanding of in-verse mechanics. Please provide an adequate alternative explanation.
For those who don’t understand the OP

"Possibly" and "Likely" are terms we can apply to any revision which ends up with reasonably split opinions, as a compromise, as opposed to it not being accepted at all which inherently favors people who disagree.

Reasonably split opinions?? Griffin, DDM, and yourself agreed with it not too long ago. This has only gone on for as long as it did because we were waiting for staff to actually respond to all the points, which nobody did until griffin showed up. There is no likely or possibly to be had here when the evidence is solid. You agreed with ddm saying it should be limited soul manipulation, for basically no reason at all. Why the sudden switch up?

That makes sense, but the issue is, opinions aren't really split here. Griffin, for instance, outright agreed with the core points of the CRT as far as I can see, an opinion DDM also shared, while you also were convinced by @CryoTheMayo with the clones part. These aren't opinions that I'd say are 'split' in any way, barring maybe Damage's evaluation. If we really want to talk about possibly or likely, then this thread will need to go on even longer since that's an entirely separate debate as I said (it also hinges on the assumption that opinions will be split at all which, as I said previously, doesn't look like the case to me). The sudden switch up out of nowhere when the thread has all but concluded with 3 solid agrees (and a neutral from Damage) kinda leaves a bad taste

I didn't agree that it should be limited, I said that I think it would be a reasonable compromise.

My actual opinion is still that I agree with the thread, so there has been no switch up.

Apologies for any confusion.

That may be true, and you may argue so. I was speaking generally.

I see, my apologies then for misinterpreting the comment. We're gonna explain a bit more and answer Clover's question too to finally conclude the thread and clear any and all confusion.

This thread has been accepted, and we will begin making the changes. For clarification, the resistance to soul damage will apply to the basic level of ki users on the ki manipulation page, and the actual soul damage will go to advanced users on the page.

Bro actually pulled it off
