Christmas fight. Santa Claus (Violent Night) vs Marv (Home Alone)

Since my previous attempt at a Christmas match turned out to be a stomp, I am giving it another try. Santa Claus has to stop another criminal from robbing a home, but this time it's jist one, not a whole team. The downside is that this one is incredibly durable and has ridiculous stamina.

Battle is in some rich home. Santa has his bag and his war hammer, Skullcrusher. Marv has a crowbar. Speed is not equalized. Win via any means. I want to see what chance Santa has against Marv before I decide if the home should have a chimney.

Santa. He is an an actual warrior is faster and is WAY more skilled. Way more verstile. I can go on. Maybe make it marv and Harry. Cause as it stands i think as soon as they get into melee combat santa bashes marvel skull in easily.
 
I think that adding Harry would make it a stomp in the robbers' favor. Harry is durable enough that he'd basically be completely invincible to all of Santa's attacks, with the sole possible exception of the chimney teleportation attack.
 
Oh I didn't see Harry was a literal tank lol yeah you right
 
I'm not entirely sure if Santa can sufficiently harm Marv even. Marv is obviously more durable than Santa. That and his superior stamina could allow him to win through sheer attrition.

I think he probaly could. They survived getting hit in the head with bricks etc but it still like noticeably hurt them and dazed them. They got the same stamina and Santa is little bit faster. Biggest thing for me is that Marv just isn't a skilled fighter or really a fighter at all. And Santa is and is faster.
 
They both have superhuman stamina ratings, the highest ratings bar infinite. However, it's pretty obvious that Marv has far better pain tolerance than Santa. Just because two characters have the same rating does not mean they are equal in that category.

Yea I am not convinced stamina differnce is that large looking at the justification for both on there profiles and even if it was. i do not belive marv is winning in a fight with a crowbar vs a skilled fighter with a real weapon. This won't be a very long fight. I don't know if I belive higher pain tolerance... he uhh reacts fairly violently and painfully to like every trap.. maybe higher dura but higher pain tolerance is just not true

Santa doesn't want to fight directly for some reason he can just use his bag and teleporting to win that way too.

My vote still the same.

I guess slightly off topic..any reason there profiles are combined? feel like couldn't do much harm to have separate profiles as they have differnt stats and stuff. Also could we use this as a notable matchup since just 1 of them?

You can restrict Harry's 9-A durability I'm pretty sure.
 
Santa is a lot more skilled & battlehardened. He's also strong enough to hurt Marv while Marv probably wouldn't be able to do too much damage to Santa. Marv is also pretty stupid & not very combat adept as oppose to Santa who has been a warrior for god knows how long & can take down entire death squads solo. He should win this pretty easily

Marv should just be 9-A and have immortality + busted regen. Profiles are outdated so I dont think this matchup should go through

also Marv literally lacks a profile, they only have a team profile you cannot pick only one

Edit: Is this a sign for me updating the wet bandits?
 
I asked if you could use one member from a duo profile, but I never got a response. As for the other stuff, unless you can get that stuff accepted, what's currently on the profile stays, so the match can still be done at least at this time. I don't know if the results can be added, but I guess I will find that out when I try to have it added. I decided I was still doing this whether it could or not just so a verdict could be reached.

Anyway, only one more vote is needed.
 
Normally I'm not a fan of voting on your own threads, but it seems that people are a bit busy, and after the forum went down for a day, I am not really wanting to have to continue to wait because of anything else that might happen. Because of this and the arguments presented, I guess I will vote for Santa FRA. Grace can begin. I just wish people could have answered my question about using only one half of a duo and if the match can be added. I guess I will find out soon enough.
