Mechikabura Immortality

Hey so I see Mechi has Immortality type 3 which is fine but through his Dark or TPU form he has what is called the Dark Factor which he uses to basically spread his presence and consciousness around to other people, latching on to them like a parasite but its also shown too that he relies on this to eventually take over another host. So this is a bit more than just regeneration.

Here's an arcade translation of what it is:
(Towa explaining to the Time Patrol that the Dark Factor is the Life Force of Mechi)

Towa: This is the Dark factor. It contains the life force of the Dark King…

Just right before you lot sealed him away, this factor was released into his surroundings.

And to think that at the time, it was so close to you. Hidden among each of you.

I will give this Dark Factor to Fuu and he will awaken as the Dark King…!

(New mission.)

So basically Mechi can survive off of simply spreading the dark factor, and Towa was going to use Fuu's body as a way to bring Mechi into a physical body since his was sealed away with the DDM by the Keysword. Meaning his life could be reliant on the Dark Factor.

We also have the convo between Fuu and Mechi to show that Mechi's life is reliant on the Dark Factor

Dark King Mechikaboola: That’s right! This is the power of the Dark Demon Realm!

Super Fuu: Who… are you?

Dark King Mechikaboola: That’s something you don’t need to know… I am you… and you are me…!

Dark King Mechikaboola: Now… allow me into your body…! What say you we engulf the world into darkness…!

(Vs. Dark King Mechikaboola.)

Super Fuu: Sorry but I’m not interested.

I’m only taking your “power.” I have no need for you.

Dark King Mechikaboola: GUOOOOOO…!!! YOU FOOOOOOOOOLLL………!!!

(Dark King Fuu appears.)

So I have two proposals:

Through the Dark Factor, Mechikabura gets Type 6 Parasitic Immortality since he can survive latching on to others with the Dark Factor and then uses their bodies to become a host
or
Mechikabura gets Type 8 Reliant Immortality for his consciousness being reliant on the Dark Factor existing. (Rejected)

Type 6 seems reasonable but Type 8 not much, as that dialogue doesen't hint on him being reliant on the Dark Factor.
 
Agree with type 6, it sounds very blatant to me, but type 8 is a no, it doesn't sound like he is reliant in that way, but relisnt on physical bodies to work.

Also, it says it is his life force, so it is not something distinct/away from him that he relies but more like, corruption.
 
Ok got it if we get more agreements on the Type 6 I'll remove the type 8 argument entirely
 
Type 6 is fine, but it's worth making clear that it isn't literally his life-force, that's still in his body inside the Time Labyrinth/Labyrinth of Light. The "Dark Factor" is essentially a special form of Ki that he can project his will through in a limited capacity, and he only appears to be able to do it when it's all gathered with one person - otherwise there would have been nothing stopping him from possessing the Time Patrol immediately after his defeat. It's also worth noting that, because the Dark Factor is what gives Mechikabura his transformations, he significantly weakens himself by releasing it.

(This doesn't really affect anything, but Towa explicitly said that she didn't want Mechikabura to return. Whether she knew that Mechikabura could try and influence Fu through the Dark Factor isn't clear, but she always planned for Fu to usurp his position.)

Fu is resistant to possesion anyway , so that could be a reason for Mechi couldn't influence him

Yeah Fu resists possession and etc. so Mechikabura couldn't control him. His Type 6 can pretty much be negated if you have a strong enough resistance to possession/demon corruption.
 
Actually Mechi can't possess people because all people that have the Dark Factor inside them have total resistance to Dark Factor/Dark Ki/Demon God Power like possession, madness manip, corruption and etc
