Zeref explicity was going to erase 400 years of history, he literally says this on his explanation for his plan to defeat Acno with Neo Eclipse, so your argument holds no water.

Erasing a small part of the timeline isn't Low 2-C. Otherwise, Diavolo would be Low 2-C because his power is literally erasing time.

Where was it stated to erase a small portion of the timeline tho? It is simply destroying the world to create a new one, what you are describing is Last Ages which returns the world to a previous point in time and goes differently, effectively erasing what happened

No, Last Ages turns back time a few seconds, not erase centuries of history, which is what Neo Eclipse does.

correction, it is a minute depending on who is doing it, it is described as a different world, Neo Eclipse destroys the world, not any number of centuries, just the world and creates a new one.
