Time Power is not plot manipulation (DB games)

Just a quick one, removing something that is completely baseless and only used to argue DB has plot manipulation...

Removing this entire section from Time Power abilities and powers section.

Time Power can affect beings like Arale, Gatchan who resist narrative-based powers which can manipulate plot including causality and fate within the plot; can also affect

I don't think I need to mention that affecting a character with a specific resistance with something completely unrelated to what is resisting doesn't mean anything... Especially when it's "used" in versus battles...
So yeah, this only exists for wank in versus battles; it needs to go.


TLDR - removing a section from Time power that is related to Plot manipulation, which is completely baseless

Obviously I agree. Honestly, it makes no sense that Time Power could bypass Arale's Plot Manipulation anyway.

No one has argued this like ever though? Apart from the exception of @KaramcaS but he was corrected IIRC. This doesn’t even require a CRT IMO it’s just an indexing issue but I do agree that it does serve as rather misleading but there’s no actual wank. People just like to be wordy and add further indexing on sheet.

While it may be correct, it is often used as wank and is generally misleading in how it is currently written. We both saw it in the thread, and it was just annoying to deal with, but yeah. (not to mention I have also been forced to deal with some of them off-site, but that is not relevant...)

But yeah, it does require a CRT, but it can be done here, as it is self-evident, just hoping staff is willing to go to a DB thread relatively quickly.

Agree with misleading but often is false. I have a feeling I would’ve known if that were the case plus we’ve had Versus threads with opposing characters having access to plot manipulation and not once have I ever seen this form of “wank” in action. It’s actually quite disrespectful to come to that conclusion without several pieces of evidence. Maybe you were referring to Karma misinterpreting the entire time but that still wouldn’t constitute as often so it’s likely a wording issue. It’s 1 DBH supporter vs numerous DBH supporters, I think that in itself speaks volumes.

Depends on what you consider yourself. If you’re one to do downgrades as like a hobby or out of passion then yeah I would say you could see it as forced.

I would say yes since it’s a nothing burger description. The only way I could see it staying is if it had importance in DBH terminology as in layers of abstraction/nature ETC but I don’t think it does. It can go.

Put me on disagree, I say for everyone else that this was a case of misunderstanding from just one user in one instance and it isn't enough to remove it entirely especially when said justification the user pointed wasn't in fact used to propose said ability in the first place, reading the section the user quoted and cherry picked , it was talking and explaining the superiority of "time power" when it came to fate causality and probability manipulation to other abilities in the verse with similar groundings like negative energy, dark factor, it was just establishing that the fate manip of time power is superior to the latter mentioned including arale fate manipulation through the plot, since it wasn't indexed on the page as plot manipulation I don't think it should be removed because of someone miss interpretations and cherry picking to wank .

I think it would be better if someone edits the profile and adds in the notes that affecting arale who has plot manipulation doesn't mean that characters themselves have that said ability.

It was added today; it is for extremely minor or self-evident threads.

It's basically to help staff and the user to pass simple stuff far earlier, without needing to waste too much time. (Though only simple stuff, that doesn't require much evaluating.)
