Now, in Halloween 4, in the scene where Michael Myers and Loomis first meet, Loomis fires a gun, and when the screen changes, Michael Myers is gone.

Currently, Michael Myers' page features my accepted subsonic calculation.

Now I will present arguments to refute these claims.

In the novel Halloween 4, Michael Myers is shot and falls onto the container. This means he didn't directly dodge it.

It also says that Loomis then immediately ran to the table and looked for Michael Myers, but couldn't see him there; we see the same thing in the film.

You might say we don't see any bullet marks on Michael Myers here, but bullet marks don't always need to be clearly visible. The best example of this is what happened in Halloween 4. At the end of Halloween 4, Michael Myers was riddled with bullets.

But in Halloween 5, despite all those bullet marks, there wasn't a single trace of a mark on her dress.

So, it's not necessary for every bullet mark to be visible. In fact, in the Thorn Timeline, we didn't see any clearly visible bullet marks on Michael Myers' body. And in Loomis's shooting, Michael Myers only takes one bullet, and it's not clear where it hit.

Let's assume the novel Halloween 4 is wrong and contradictory.

However, we can't definitively say he dodged in the film. Because if we look at the scene, Loomis is only seen while firing. Before his last shot, the area where Michael Myers was supposed to be is visible, but Michael Myers isn't there.

Since we don't see Michael Myers on stage, we can't definitively say whether he dodged the bullet. He may have moved before being shot, which raises the possibility of aimdodge.

So we don't see Michael Myers running away; Michael Myers may have moved while being aimed at or just before being shot.

There are still many possibilities like that, so saying Michael Myers definitely dodged the bullet would only be an appeal to possibility.

In conclusion, since Michael Myers was shot as stated in the novel, and there isn't enough evidence in the film to prove he dodged the bullet, the film needs to be removed.

This seems okay, from what I can tell. The scene in the film is frustratingly vague as we don't see Michael get hit so we're forced to extrapolate from what we are shown.

Loomis shoots four times, and for the first two we're looking at Loomis, and the camera only cuts to where Michael is for the last two shots. The fact Loomis looks on the floor and it's treated as significant when Michael isn't there indicates Loomis hit him with the first shots and he fell before the camera cut to his location, fitting with the novel.

It'd be strange for Loomis to look on the floor if Michael had dodged the bullets.

Yes, if I remember correctly, the film's script even mentioned Myers being shot. Even if the information about Myers being shot wasn't mentioned anywhere, as I said, we couldn't say he dodged it. So, the success remains in our hands in every aspect.

I guess I didn't need to go into as much detail.

I agree with the thread.

Thanks. I think another admin needs to approve it before it can be removed.
Keep running the thread as is for a while. If it goes on too long I'll ping some staff.

Why are you bumping? You got the necessary votes, It's passed grace, and can be applied

I don't see it applied on the profile, let me know when that's done so I can close this
