Raimiverse Spidey is an extraordinary genius

Spider-Man is currently classified as a genius

However, Peter clearly meets the criteria for an extraordinary genius.

He demonstrates a deep understanding of nanotechnology, engineering, nuclear physics, and chemistry and consistently receives praise from leading experts in these fields. Therefore, he meets this criterion:
"Individuals whose knowledge spreads over multiple fields of science and who vastly surpass the real world's upper human limits."

The protostar technology created by Doctor Otto is far ahead of its time (breakthrough beyond Norman Osborn's dreams); Peter mentally predicted the flaw in this system before it even occurred—and he was proven right (Even though Peter didn’t invent the technology, he recognized the problem with this system and was proven right—something Otto hadn’t seen—and Otto admitted that Peter was right, yet Otto had done all the calculations and had taken even the smallest miscalculation into account, and this was the project of his life.) Otto Octavius’s reactor is based on the principle of “sustainable and self-sustaining micro-nuclear fusion,” a concept that real-world physics has not yet fully stabilized, even in theory. This study explains the triggering mechanisms of explosive instabilities (ELMs) at the plasma edge using nonlinear extended MHD models. The paper demonstrates that it is impossible to predict such instabilities in real time and that the use of advanced software, such as the JOREK code, and global supercomputer infrastructure (e.g., the EUROfusion supercomputers) is essential for simulating these phenomena. Therefore, it also meets this criterion:
"At this level, many are capable of creating extremely advanced futuristic technology and even accurately predicting the future through sheer mental calculations, outperforming supercomputers.

Peter calculates his jumps and swings on the web to ensure he can perform them safely. He does this while fighting enemies and rescuing civilians. This meets the following criterion:
"executing complex strategies even under high pressure"

Conclusion

Peter’s intelligence should be classified as “extraordinary genius” rather than “genius,” as he clearly meets the criteria for this classification.

No source? No Scans?

This should be fixed in OP ASAP, or else mods can just close it

There are already scans on his profile; I accept them as they are. I'm just saying that instead of “genius,” they should be labeled “extraordinary genius,” but I'll add the scans anyway.

even if the scans in the profile say what you're pointing out, they still should be present in your OP

I think Raimiverse Pete breaking into EG isn't really all that contentious? Yeah, he certainly isn't on the upper echelon of EG or anything, but I still think he at least qualifies for the rating. Honestly, EG is quite overrated by some people, it isn't anywhere near as hard of an intelligence rating to qualify for as some make it seem, but anyways for now you can put me for agreeing

key-word being "vastly surpass", i don't think it is the case from what we know
I believe that with this statement you are referring to achieving scientific accomplishments that were impossible at the time. Otto's technology (I think Spiderman 2 takes place in 2004) was something impossible to do for that year, and Otto accomplished it. Peter, even more than Otto, correctly identified the flaw in this system.

this indeed shows he's got knowledge on multiple fields of science, but to surpass upper human limits with it? Not quite sure
""To surpass upper human limits" Could you please explain what this statement means, because I don't quite understand it?

basically, he does fit the criteria of knowing a lot of sience fields, but he doesn't know a-superhuman-or-almost-that amount of them, therefore it does not meet the criteria fully

All of this is just Genius
i'm fairly certain this is enough to get "At least Genius" though

I understand, but I’d like to ask you to review the scans I just added as well

Peter may just have read the paper and saw an element in the structure of the project indicating the failure
Also, identifying the possibility of a failure is not improbable with all the knowledge he has in certain science fields, what would be impressive is building what Otto was attempting, IMO

The scientific project that Otto is building involves a lot of different science fields, some of them that Peter specializes in. By being his specialty, he can spot where it is wrong in that regard.

Picture a webdesigner and a graphic designer talking about YouTube's home page (and in this wild example, the webdesigner is the only person working on the page we're reffering to)
The 2nd individual spotting a misaligned element does not speak about how much he's a ridiculously good webdesigner, just turns out that one of the knowledges he has - as a graphic designer - could help him correctly spotting a mistake in the page.

Am i making sense?

I understand, but you're making a slightly incorrect analogy. Otto, with his scientific knowledge, created a device far more advanced than the technology of his time, while Peter (who is not as old as Otto and does not have the same scientific career and experience as him) predicts the flaw in this futuristic technology simply by examining it, and his prediction turns out to be correct. As I've linked the sources above, detecting these kinds of flaws requires running supercomputers. Peter already more intelligent than Otto. Otto created a technology that was far ahead of its time.

Hm. Maybe include this in OP, because this is starting to make sense as "EG, possibly Supergenius" to me, ngl

I'm not sure about "super genius," but it seems to largely meet the criteria for "extraordinary genius." Now we just have to wait for the staff.

That's gonna be a strong disagreement from me

No he doesn't, certainly not based on this metric alone. All of what you just listed and linked is achievable by geniuses, and unless we actually see this to a level of an extraordinary genius, we can't make assumptions

The protostar technology created by Doctor Otto is far ahead of its time (breakthrough beyond Norman Osborn's dreams); Peter mentally predicted the flaw in this system before it even occurred—and he was proven right (Even though Peter didn’t invent the technology, he recognized the problem with this system and was proven right—something Otto hadn’t seen—and Otto admitted that Peter was right, yet Otto had done all the calculations and had taken even the smallest miscalculation into account, and this was the project of his life.) Peter mentally predicted the flaw in the system and was proven right, but that's just because he knows his science. He brought up the possibility of failure was there, but it's not like bro was just as capable of doing what Otto did. He even asked Otto how to stop it and insisted that he think on a solution in the finale, proving that Otto still had significantly greater technological prowess than Peter here

So no, Peter, again, does not meet this criteria. He doesn't upscale Otto's general intelligence or anything

A bit of a misconception here. Peter calculates his jumps and web swinging. He doesn't do the same for EVERY instance of using a web though. Just the web swinging since those require an actual understanding of physics to ensure he doesn't flail around and slam into things. Him firing some web balls at Otto is NOT the product of him making some split second calculations

Even acknowledging the jumps and web swing calculations tho, we still don't grant Extraordinary Genius based on this

Raimi Peter should stick to genius intelligence

but I was curious about the reason for this

I...literally wrote them all out for you

Right here....

I think an "At least Genius" rating would be fine. Cooking up a cure to the Goblin serum with high school lab equipment is no joke.
This feat is no longer valid as cross-scaling has been removed from No Way Home but Peter said he'd been thinking about this for a long time so I'm not sure if it counts or not
