9-B Animal Tournament (16/16)

Mat I know if the restaurant's machinery (like lights and stoves) are functioning? And if so, are the lights automatically on?

I didn't notice that there was a cap, I only looked at the "No 9-B+" part especially since there is a character here that was submitted that is in the megajoule range. Good thing I have a backup.

NoLegs (124.716 kilojoules)

What I find funny is that if we're pairing by characters with a globally optimal pairing algorithm, we get:
Combatant 1Combatant 2Difference (J)
Bon the Rabbit (48,756.98 J)The Wolf (121,765 J)73,008 J
Giant Praying Mantis (150,527.98 J)Ancient Sirehound (136,443.09 J)14,084.89 J
Mr. Bull (129,009 J)NoLegs (124,716 J)4,293 J
Bonnie (394,773.55 J)Eephant x5 (670,000 J)275,226.45 J
Skavenslaves x25 (1,895,462.69 J)Baboon hawk x8 (768,350 J)1,127,112.69 J
Jeff the Land Shark (233,415.798 J)White Spikes (279,685.934 J)46,270.136 J
Coral Shoggoth (217,290 J)Deathclaws x2 (217,000 J)290 J
I think its hilarious that the Giant Mantis could go up against the tiny Sirehound

might have to update the Deathclaw a bit since it has no radiation resistance despite being able to survive in Courier's road

So uh, isn't the AP limit around 400kj? Why are there characters with 700 kj and 1.8 mj? Are they just listed together as a collective AP?

So uh, isn't the AP limit around 400kj? Why are there characters with 700 kj and 1.8 mj? Are they just listed together as a collective AP?
But obviously its not that simple because 1000 1 joule attacks doesn't equal a 1000 joule attack

It's just weird cause then deathclaws would be 435kj together

(maybe I should add another Deathclaw)
So now we are counting the combatants AP as a whole (for example, I have two combatants with 1000 Joules each and since they are two I should say 2000 Joules)?

I could attempt to run a Square Law algorithm on it to see if anyone is still overpowered but i'd have to read up on it

From what I can gather:

Based on Lanchester’s square law, where a group’s effectiveness scales with the square of its numbers.

To adjust for that, if a square root is introduced into the calculation to effectively reverse the advantage that comes purely from having more members. Then an estimate for a group’s true per-unit AP level rather than just its raw size-based strength.

In practice, this means taking the AP, dividing it by the size of the group, and then applying a square root to smooth the result. This way, the metric reduces the distortion caused by numbers and gives a clearer signal of underlying effectiveness.

Does this seem like something worth running?

Not for Skavenslaves, you'd be multiplying their weapon AP, since it's per weapon lol

The point is to assess the AP threat of an individual and the group, more just to see whether there's any huge outliers that should be addressed regarding the groups. I've actually ran it and spoiler alert the Skavens aren't the outlier.

actually spoiler alert there aren't any outliers, but it gives a better understanding on who is on par with who even including the groups

again, Deathclaws scale to 217k individually, the list is just ass

Sorry I missed it, they're 3rd place then. Its just a mathematical interpretation that ignores nuance to see if anything stomps through numbers, and to attempt to gauge exactly how much of a threat say, two 217k fighters are

No, as in EACH SKAVENSLAVE HAS 1.8 MEGAJOULE WEAPONS

Oh
I misinterpreted
How come the original list has some totalled and some individualised?
