Yeah. Funnily not even the most absurd one in the setting, Atreus goes from like, Tier 9 to Tier 1 in a week.AD is pretty nice though no?

Freyr is decently stronger, but not any oneshot gap anymore. Baldur is blessed with Invulnerability to all threats, physical or magical. Thrud would technically be fair but lol.So...
Deimos vs mid-tier Norse fellas (Freyr? Thrúd? Baldur?) should be a possibility, right?
Since i can't just "Baldur has just lost his invulnerability" and make it add-able, i'll study if magic is making it impossible to matchmake Deimos and FreyrFreyr is decently stronger, but not any oneshot gap anymore. Yeah give the guy who instantly regenerates Low-Mid levels of damage and can adapt to the Blades of Chaos a full wealth of stamina against someone who can't do anything against that lolSince i can't just "Baldur has just lost his invulnerability" and make it add-able,
Fortunately drinking more coffee made me think a bit less like a crackhead and now i can study less crazy possibilities lolYeah give the guy who instantly regenerates Low-Mid levels of damage and can adapt to the Blades of Chaos a full wealth of stamina against someone who can't do anything against that lol
Inspecting a bit further, i can see, out of those options that sounded interesting to me:Since i can't just "Baldur has just lost his invulnerability" and make it add-able, i'll study if magic is making it impossible to matchmake Deimos and Freyrand Thrúd maybe could put up a bit of a challenge because Mjölnir consciously helping may lead to some slightly unpredictable combos
Only chance would be against Poseidon if, and only under this condition, he had his power level from the start of GoW3 without needing to suck Athena's powers with the Blade of OlympusCould Kratos from God of War: Ghost of Sparta beat Hades or Poseidon
- Zeus could easily do the same and strip God Kratos of his powers, and then implied Athena could do the same with ease. Said Kratos had inherited Ares's godhead and all of his innate magic. (6 layers hax/resistance)
- Poseidon is utterly immune to Athena's abilities. (6 layers resistance)
- Kratos, with the Blade of Olympus, stabs Athena and strips of her of her godly powers right before killing her. (7 layers hax)
The gap between second-generation Olympians and the Brother Kings is there but no longer an effortless oneshot (even if they do lose to the Big Three any time).Only chance would be against Poseidon if, and only under this condition, he had his power level from the start of GoW3 without needing to suck Athena's powers with the Blade of Olympus
But our Magic page seems to indicate that's not the case
It seems to indicate that
GoS Kratos < (can't remember how big of a) gap < Start of GoW2 Kratos ~ Ares ~ Athena < stomp gap < Poseidon =< Start of GoW3 Kratos
The gap between second-generation Olympians and the Brother Kings is there but no longer an effortless oneshot (even if they do lose to the Big Three any time).
But yeah, GoS Kratos is just Ares tier at most.
I've found four better quality scans (Art of GOWII, Official Cookbook) for current Cosmology. Would you like to replace them?
bumpSince there was no protest against my line of thought...

Cronos's weight at leastWhat would Greek Kratos’ lifting strength be if we only take the gameplay into account? Like, without considering lore statements, guidebook descriptions, or other external material.
Uh, whatever flipping Tyr's temple gets, since by Kratos' own words in-game at that time he is "weak"What would Greek Kratos’ lifting strength be if we only take the gameplay into account? Like, without considering lore statements, guidebook descriptions, or other external material.
What does "lore statements" mean here? Like, Atlas is holding up the world. Do we consider Gaia's narration "lore" or?What would Greek Kratos’ lifting strength be if we only take the gameplay into account? Hey, do you play your games with no subtitles and muting them completely?Lore scaling sounds dumb
it's quite hard to seperate gameplay and lore in GoW Context imoWhat would Greek Kratos’ lifting strength be if we only take the gameplay into account? Like, without considering lore statements, guidebook descriptions, or other external material.
Nah, i just think it sounds dumb to call it lore scaling to the story itselfHey, do you play your games with no subtitles and muting them completely?
Whats extra baffling is that if it was just "only use games and in-game info, nothing else" it'd be a lot more reasonable too.Hey, do you play your games with no subtitles and muting them completely?
Dunno about God of War, but sometimes that's required!Hey, do you play your games with no subtitles and muting them completely?
I guess Thor bonking Jorm in front of your eyes and splintering Ygg is just that. Lore. Not even descriptions. Basic dialogue is lore.
Ygg is just tree, game shows thisI guess Thor bonking Jorm in front of your eyes and splintering Ygg is just that. Lore.
