Madness Combat Discussion Thread: Redeemer

(Speaking of which, i'm going to be working on a shit ton of G03LM pages, starting with a baseline g03lm page.)
For note: GO3LMs should have resistance to Transformation/Biological Manipulation since they can keep getting resurrected by Sleepwalker program without any issues which was able to cause other Nevadeans to mutate into Abominations. GO3LMs also can resist Soul Absorption from Offering (I will provide scans later if you need so)
 
Fun fact we can theoretically argue everyone in the verse scaling to immeasurable speed due to dodging Dissonant Reality projectiles which's entire existence ignores and strips away space and time. You also probably can argue it being somewhat consistent with Arena Protagonist's feat and chainscaling through The Machine's robots who can match him in combat and I guess bring The Auditor's scaling about Auditing The Machine and characters being able to catch The Maker by surprised who has some own immeasurable speed arguments

By the way, I has been thinking and hatched some new arguments for Concept Type 1 thanks to Nowhere which is essentially an abstract nothingness that acts as a fountain for all of existence and unreleased potential and stories that weren't molded into reality. If being short, it is a conceptual void that governs all nonexistent things and narratives and gave birth to existence

I will tackle it alongside Dissonant in my next CRT

Another CRT beyond your recently accepted one & the one(s) by Comi that are still ongoing? I didn't think there was a lot left on the esoteric fronts. When you're nearly done, run the details by us on this thread here so we can discuss if it's worth its own thread or just as supporting evidence (if it isn't too different) to add to the OPs of ongoing threads.

I think Jorge should have Analytical Prediction on the basis of being able to hit Sanford and Deimos (the former who has a statement about predicting opponents on his own) through their instinctive reactions. This lines up with Jorge being consistently described as someone incredibly skilled, this also likely will scale to Church and Black Guard (and possibly other Tower Guards?), and of course to each of major relevant characters
 
I think Scrapeface should have Information manipulation. His reality warping makes the area a glitch and Krinkels stated in some of his streams that he is a glitch and a bug in Nevada. It would be supported by the blog Employe made

The sandbox link is there, so there's no need to repeat everything that was already accepted. Just make the OP the sandbox link & anything not already accepted in prior CRTs (such as the CM stuff) alone. Bigger OP = bigger friction, even though most of that is already accepted.

No prob, I don't think the ongoing thread in question is very contentious, anyway. Mr. Bambu already approved, it's just a matter of time and staff showing up (and again, I prefer to not request on walls when it isn't a more thorny topic). Though you really should put "(1 Staff Approved So Far)" at the start of the thread title like Employe did with his to the result of his CRT getting resolved faster.
 
Not gonna bump the thread that was bringing it up, but for the next time Hank's page is revised, here's a better example of him reflecting bullets with intentional offensive directionality (not just shielding) multiple times in succession via a sword. Also this one, though the former is easier to read. Might also be a thing in PN2 but I don't have footage of it at this time.

in PN2, the main characters can cause bullets to harmlessly fall to their feet when blocking them instead of sending them back at the enemy. Not rlly an ability you can put down on a profile, but it's somehting.
 
Alright, well, at least we got examples of intentional offensive direction from the animations themselves.

Love how Hank targets the other minions first (it's obviously not coincidence) because the shooter he's reflecting is stunned by recoil whereas the others are closing in, thus he uses that spare half-a-second to first take out others who could be a more immediate issue before killing or disarming the main shooters. So many amazing details in these.
 
It has yet to be finished, but pretty much mostly only things that left to write are his intelligence section and add scans (well, and some justifications)
 
You list a few abilities that are already on the physiology page, which kinda defeats the purpose of it in the first place.
I just think his case particularly deserves to be mentioned separately due to having a decent amount of own feats
 
I actually planned on making a blog scaling Hank's battle IQ. I think he should be Extraordinary Genius in combat as well as other characters. Same with Sleepwalkers

I don't think VSB gives standardized ratings to skill like that these days. Though do workshop an in-depth explanation on skill, even if there isn't as much (in quantity of information) to report on as, say, Metal Gear. It would be helpful to have a quick thing on hand to say "Ok, Gen 1's are this old, this PNC guy had these kinds of trial and tribulation to deal with, Sleepwalker Patients are programmed from that, some miscellany, etc.
 
Yes, Combat intelligence doesn't receive its own rating anymore. Doesn't prevent you from writing down the skill explanations, tho

I realized that stuff like awareness/sense are technically possed by every single character, just to varying degrees.

So theoretically something like "being able to perceive weakness" should be naturally attributed to every single character in verse, since they all have senses/awareness (and for major characters they reach high numbers)

Yeah, you and CitRus should collab on profiles and that skill blog together, pool citations and such, Employe. Will save you time from getting everything individually. Should be cool!
