Maou Gakuin Discussion Thread

Hi, I have a question about Davuel and Venuzdonoa, I heard they work similarly but I can not tell what makes them difference from each others abilities wise. So what makes them distinct from each others ?

Is Noah being unbound by all order of the sea make him Acausal type 5 or just greater extent of type 4?

Can someone explain how dagdala works?
From what i know, there are 2 cases of how Dagdala interact with people:
1. People with shadows:
-When the caster draw the magic circle of Dagdala on the enemy's shadow, it force everything with a shadow in a radius to obey the spell specific rules. The rule is that they can only damage each other through the shadow, so they are invulnerable to both the damages and the forces that are done to their body. Damaging the shadow of a body part mean the damage is transfer to that body part, so lets say you damage the shadow of the hand of your opps, only their hand will recieved the damage, same with the torso, the head, ....
-A thing you can also do is to "remove" or "relocate" your shadow so you are completely invulnerable to force and damage because they can only damage you through your shadow, if you do not have a shadow then you can not be damage or push back. This is done by Anos by using Venuzdonoa.
2. People with no shadow (Noah):
-It is a bit different for Noah because since he has no shadow, the spell does not register him to be a part of Dagdala so when he activate Dagdala then he is still in his base, so he can be damage normally but he also does not have the vulnerability of damage through shadow. Only when he steps on someone's else shadow will he get the invulnerability to damage and knockback. When his foot is no longer on the target's shadow then he return to his base state.

Uh, only the caster becomes invulnerable as long as their shadow isn't attacked. They are also free to attack the opponents body as well as deal damage through attacking a person's shadow.

No, if Noah doesn't have a shadow, he can't be damaged at all

1. Pretty sure both the caster and the targets are under the same effect. If not then Anos would have said it out loud that only Noah is Invulnerable. Also, if only the caster is invulnerable then what is stopping Ronclus in Noah body from firing Dogda Azbedara at Anos while also stepping on his shadow ? That will deal a lot more damage

2. He can be damaged though, Anos said that Ronclus in Noah's body is only invulnerable when he steps on someone's else shadow.

“You don’t have a shadow, so you’re an exception to the rule. You
cannot be harmed while you’re stepping on other shadows—but you can
when you’re not.”

Ronclus while stepping on Anos body have no trouble holding the rayon boosted EGA with one arm but after his foot left Anos' shadow then he still got pushed back while using both hand to catch the spell. What you said only happened when Noah steps on someone's shadow.

You can understand it this way:
  • People with shadow are registered in Dagdala, both are invulnerable to damage and knockback to their physical body. They can only be hurt through their shadow.
  • Noah has no shadow so he is not registered by Dagdala and he stays in base (which mean still take normal damage like Dagdala is not activated) unless he steps on someone's shadows, that is when he has the same invulnerability that the people with Dagdala has.
  • Anos with Venuzdonoa become fully invulnerable because he has a shadow in the first place, so Dagdala registered him and give him the invulnerability to the body and only be damaged through shadow. Later when Venuzdonoa remove his shadow, the enemies have no way to attack him.

Right i also have my question. Since Militia is the deepest world at the end of series, does that mean all of the spell from there are considered deep sea spells and should work on people from other words as well as it work on Militia ?

Will there be any more updates for the verse? Rimuru's fans are catching up and will soon put him in a higher position than Anos
