Arena description:
  • A giant dome 500 meters wide and 800 meters tall.
  • Colossal enclosed arena where the central battle platform stretches a full 500 meters across, comparable to a supersized football pitch but engineered for extreme-scale combat. The surface is a circular expanse of reinforced metal of near unbreakable tough material and composite strong plating, etched with concentric rings that help gauge distance and positioning during fights. At that scale, fighters can engage in high-speed movement, long-range attacks, and large-area abilities without immediately reaching the boundaries. At the exact center lies a small circular opening, deceptively modest compared to the arena’s size. This aperture drops straight down into a vast vertical shaft filled with water that extends three hundred meters below the surface.
  • The arena is now destructible! However, it's still able to hold its balance even if there's no support to support the arena. The confines of the arena (destroyed or otherwise) will still be considered for Ring Out. The combatants will be able to see an outline of this ring out indicator, however.

Alright, Hakurou will start with his normal gig.
amps, magic sense, heavenly eye, infoanalysis into haze. Though due it being Qiqi as an opponent, I think he will be a bit more careful before going into the strike, he will, however, still go for a decapitation strike.

Regarding Qiqi's forcefields should not be an issue since Hakurou will be able to cut through them like butter, just like how he did to Rimuru. But due to the "barrier" being away from the main body, it should give Qiqi at least information about an attack coming from there, but if she can react or not, I can't say.

So yeah, that is y current thoughts, will wait for counter arguments before proceeding further.

Qiqi should honestly win due to the same arguments as the tiersetter. She pretty much has the same relevant abilities.

I think you misunderstand, the main argument for Hakurou losing to Shockrock, is him going to space.... Something that is not possible in this matchup.

The other argument is telekenisis... Something Qiqi doesn't have either, so yeah. None of Shocrocks' wincon actually works here.

Qiqi can go to space just fine in this matchup.

I don't believe telekinesis is an argument, because Hakurou in past threads has been argued to have intangibility making him immune to that.

Not really, being outside the area is a disqualification

It was never the main argument but still a wincon, since if it hits outside of Haze, it would be one. (he wouldn't be able to to activate Haze in that scenario)

Ok, wait a moment @Shadowslash125 did you literally just add a new rule in the middle of the tournament right before this f*cking match specifically negating my character's flight advantage? One the tiersetter didn't have to abide for matches when considering whether the characters are in-tier?
WTF, man.

Tbf, I assumed this rule was present the entire tournament? but was just written out.

But yeah, Shadow was given permission to make new rules to make the match more interesting... (And this is actually tame compared to the shit he normally pulls..)

Don't think so. Spaceflight was an explicit argument in Qiqi's last fight, where both sides turned out to have it.

Not sure how "New Rule, nobody has a remotely realistic wincon against Hakurou now, not even the tiersetter" is making things interesting...

Mission to cause as much chaos as possible: success.

Jk, didn't really follow the tourney after my elimination, made this rule outta my ass on the fly, didn't expect it to actually affect anyone that badly.
Would be really impressive of Qiqi if she's able to win the tourney despite this though.
EDIT: I'm chaotic, but not unfair, I might have something that all combatants can utilise to compliment this ring out format if you think it unfairly affects your character.

Had it been me for the entire tourney, shit would be sideways by now. Since I'm coming in from the semi-finals onwards, this is ehhhh but fine.

Actually... Heatblast still would incon him at least.... (the other 2 has been eliminated)

Yeah... I have gone through the entire tournament thinking it was a rule...

Nah, best I can argue is that she doesn't instantly lose. She isn't surviving close combat against a skill god immune to her attacks and with durability negation until he runs out of stamina.

Actually... Heatblast still would incon him at least....
Seriously doubt that.

Coming from someone who initially prepared for Hakurou, doesn't Hakurou like appear visible, even for a second before he does his invisible haze shit?
EDIT: Updated stuff again.

Wtf is Hakurou supposed to do against a supernova? Even if he manages to kill him, he will be killed the moment he deactivates Haze....
The way wincons work is you win the instant you reach your wincon.
So yeah, he just activates haze, kills him and what happens afterwards actually doesn't factor into who won. If you die one millisecond after the opponent that is actually your victory by SBA.

I will be honest... I thought if he died after that would count as a incon....

Based on what I've read from both participants' posts, this seems like a QiQi stomp. If both sides agree, Hakurou goes to the finale.
