A Revision About A World of Slimes — Conclusions (Final Part)

We usually only bold the name of the character or place in the summary section. Series names are generally italicized instead. There isn’t a strict rule about this as far as I know, but unnecessary bolding does not look good from an informative standpoint, and it’s better to keep formatting consistent across profiles.

Other than that, punctuation should be placed before references, not after them. For example:

World]<ref>Volume 22, Chapter 2</ref>. → Not valid

World].<ref>Volume 22, Chapter 2</ref> → Valid

Thats the thing, we do BOLD like this for all profiles, and it is not a rule against it. So it is the ones that don't have it that need to be fixed. (This is so the profile becomes much easier to read, for people like myself who have a hard time making sure I didn't miss something...)

Not really. I’m fairly sure we only bold the character’s name in the summary section and not anything else. The series name is usually italicized instead. That said, I did mention that we don’t really have a strict rule against doing otherwise, but I would still prefer consistency across profiles. The rest is ultimately up to the supporters.

So, what do you mean by the first part?

If you mean the bolding part in the descriptions and such, we tend to bold skill names and beings. The profiles that don't have it are "outdated" or not finished. So yes, that part is consistent within Tensura.

The summary section formatting is generally kept consistent across most franchises and profiles. I’d also prefer the P&A sections to have more consistency regarding bolding, though I can understand why there’s variation there, since many profiles already use different formatting styles. The summary section, however, tends to be much more consistent, even across tensura, the series name appears to have been italicized and only name appears to have been boldened across profiles.

If it's across the wiki, then fair play, regarding Tensura specifically. Most profiles are being heavily revised (And due to people not working on profile improvement until recently). Most profiles have not been touched in that way since the 2010s...

So yeah, if it's Tensura it is only due to us not having improved it yet, if it's a general thing, fair play...

So yeah, all profiles in tensura that don't have this way, is only temporarly untill we can fix it.

Fixed this

I'm, like, fairly sure it can be either way after reading hundreds of profiles over time.
Even checked the Reference page for this and I did not find a rule regarding it there. 🤔

Ah, nevermind, I see it here. But I'm wondering if this is an absolute rule, cuz many many profiles have it the other way around
