Nice alliteration. This is an abilities/stats revamp for Re:Zero's famous (or infamous) poster-girl, ■■. I changed her images and summary too.

Rem's Current Page

My Sandbox

Added/Edited:
Attack Potency: City level (Rem's Oni horn makes her twice as strong as she is normally), higher with her Oni transformation (Only someone on Wilhelm or Ricardo's level can deal sufficient damage to the White Whale, with everyone else's damage being a drop in the bucket; Rem easily smashed through the witchbeast's outer hide, gouging flesh and bone, making its entire frame shudder with her blows, and ended up slaying one of the monster's clones by herself)

Lifting Strength: Class K, higher with her Oni tranaformation (She froze layers of ice upon her Morningstar until it was a 10-meter clump of ice, which she could still swing)

Striking Strength: City level, higher with her Oni transformation

Durability: City level, higher with her Oni transformation

Range: Standard Melee Range, Tens of Meters with her Morningstar, Hundreds of Meters with Magic

Standard Equipment: The Morningstar, a spiked iron ball at the end of a chain which Rem wields for "self-defense." The weapon's mass makes it difficult to block, synergizing excellently with Rem's Oni strength. The chain itself is an effective weapon for catching foes that evade the flail, and can be wrapped around Rem's arm for an impromptu gauntlet. Rem also carries a second, miniature morningstar for emergencies.

Intelligence: Above Average (Rem has received a proper education thanks to Roswaal L Mathers, such that she could easily find work even in a competitive economy like Kararagi. Despite having lost her Memories to the Archbishop of Gluttony, being unable to walk, and travelling with an uncooperative child, Rem obscured her attempt to flee through the forest— creating false tracks and numerous traps which she continuously improved at building each time)

Weaknesses: If she recklessly uses her horn, the recoil could leave her battered. Using her horn for several hours will stimulate her Oni instincts, making her more violent and less reasonable. Rem tends to use magic with reckless abandon.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
  • Oni Transformation: The characteristic feature of the Oni clan is their horns. This is an organ which devours atmospheric mana to fuel the superhuman body of the utmost excelling combat species. Oni usually have two horns, but twins like Rem are born with one horn each, making them weaker. Even with an inferior horn, Rem is greatly empowered by the mana it provides her with; roughly doubling her strength, enhancing her regeneration, and flooding her mind with fighting instincts. Thanks to the teachings of Priscilla Barielle, Rem awakened the true power of the Oni clan to sense the emotions of others within the mana their horns absorb. This allows Rem to detect paths of concealed hostility and accurately respond to attacks in advance, as well as feel the trust and intent of her allies even if their words are inaudible.
  • Magic:To make up for her lesser Oni abilities, alongside training with weapons, Rem learned magic from her master Roswaal L. Mathers, the greatest magician in the world. With her affinity for the Water attribute, she developed ice magic for combat and healing magic for support. With ice magic she creates projectiles, barriers, and platforms of ice to support herself, and with healing magic she can perform first-aid.
    • Huma: The lowest class of Huma. It is a spell which manipulates ice on a small scale, such as forming a barrier to protect oneself. This Water attribute Huma differs from the Fire attribute Huma, as it directly converts mana into ice instead of freezing moisture in the air, which despite being more mana-intensive, allows Rem to instantly dismiss ice back into mana.
    • El Huma: A higher class of Huma. It is a spell which manipulates ice on a larger scale, usually offensively by forming numerous icicle projectiles in the air which can then be fired all at once. Rem once used this spell to turn a person's blood into a frozen projectile.
    • Ul Huma: The second-highest class of Huma. It is a spell which creates large icicles of several meters in scale to attack with. Three of these icicles managed to push the White Whale off-course.
    • Al Huma: The highest class of Huma. It is a spell which forms an enormous mass of ice to smash into the target at high speed. This mass can exceed ten meters in size, and is able to pierce the White Whale's mana-dispersing hide.

Come on guys, its 2026 there are like 20 better girls than Rem now

Agree with everything but you missed acrobatics from her arc 9 falling battle, also her intelligence should be gifted or genius for that trap creation feat

missed acrobatics from her arc 9 falling battle
I don't think it was particularly acrobatic to spawn ice platforms beneath your feet. And she's specifically noted to cling to the spinning platform with her grip strength and morningstar unlike Emilia who just runs across it (which is very acrobatic).

also her intelligence should be gifted or genius for that trap creation feat
That seems a tiny bit extreme.

i reread the chapter and yeah you are right. however i still feel like she is acrobatic because if you see her fight the cultists in season 1, you can very clearly see how she just jumps around the trees as if it was nothing.
That seems a tiny bit extreme.
its really not, she had no memories of making traps and came up with all sorts of different traps on the fly, while being partially paralysed and carrying an uncooperative child

it is literally the equivalent of thinking up the idea of making the hook vine trap, the pitfall, the hammer from the tree when you snap a branch (minecraft ahh) and many more and actually being able to apply that as well

I am known for hating on Rem and i can still tell you how big of an injustice it is to put this under above average intelligence

Few things not sure if all of them are worth noting

Rem is a proficient magician (though not to the same degree as Emilia) as she casted multiple spells simultaneously during her battle against Yae

Rem responds instinctively to Yae's attempt at decapitation

Rem can smell the scent of the blood from a far distance as well as how much blood is being spilt.

Rem can detect Todd's abnormal behaviour from analysing him and noticing inconsistencies despite all the social influencing Todd has on his page as well as being trained in seduction/charisma like Yae.

Potential weakness for how Rem uses her magic

Rem is shown to be using her nails as a weapon (oni nails) and so is Ram on different occasions

Rem can relieve pain via water magic and the oni horn can cause mana to scatter aimlessly

It looks like the justifications for her city level and higher ap ratings are swapped. And there's also a typo in her lifting strength where it says "tranaformation." Also, it would probably be appropriate to add her second, smaller Morningstar to her standard equipment.
Looks good though 👍

I'd rather use a scan of her actually using multiple magics simultaneously.

I don't think this is anything special, just Rem finding it odd how Todd didn't ask for their names. Maybe related to her feeling nameless.

Already there
She has healing already. Added the mana thing.

They aren't, all her feats were done in her Oni form with her horn.

I'm crying real tears. "It's a little morningstar. I want you to have it."

Al is a controversial guy. Puck is a popular guy. Rem is a popular girl. Next is probably the Witch of Envy. I also worked on Typhon and Carmilla by accident because I'm kind of doing ANYTHING to avoid Echidna or Roswaal.

Is she escaping Human level rating because I swear it was stated she beats Capella high diff
She's stated to defeat Capella in a close, but sure battle, yes. She's also stated to have zero combat power. She's accompanied by "guards" made up of people with tough hearts that don't die in her presence. Once she even had Muspel, the Great Spirit of Earth, at her beck and call.

add them to her standard equipment (fire)

do Ram first

The thread was made on Friday at 16:35 UTC, and it's currently 16:52 UTC on Sunday, no?
Different time zone, but to me it looks like you're about half an hour early. Admittedly a very short gap.

Yeah time zones shouldn't change the fact that it's a 48 hour gap unless you've just switched to/from daylight savings time or something like that
