Capture the Flag round 3! (Freesmart vs GRN) (0-2-0)

Welcome to Round 3 of Capture the Flag!

Stat Equitization stuff:

  • All stats except range, stamina, and intelligence will be equalized to the weakest character in use.
  • Amps and stat increases will be capped to a maximum multiplier of 2x. (I.e; if a character has a 10x amp, in this tournament the amp will be reduced to 4x)
    • Any one-shot or Blitz-level amps will also be capped at 2x.
  • All characters will be able to interact and see each other naturally.

VS Thread Scenario:​

  • The TF2 rules of Capture the Flag are being used.
    • Like in TF2, if someone carrying the Intelligence teleports or turns invisible the Intelligence will automatically drop off them
    • 20-minute rounds and Sudden Death is in play if the timer runs out.
    • Teams are informed of the rules before their matches.
  • Fights will take place on one of TF2's CTF maps.
  • Teams start in the maps' opposing Spawn rooms. Fighters will respawn in their teams' spawn rooms when killed or BFR'ed from the map after 20 seconds
  • The Administrator, as the Announcer will inform fighters of their remaining time, if the Intelligence is picked up/dropped, etc. like in normal gameplay.
  • The tournament winners will get a near-unlimited supply of raw Australium and Australium weapons
    • Competitors are informed of the properties of Australium and what it can be used for.
  • All competitors retain memories of previous matches and have the option to spectate other matches as they occur.

Tournament Thread Rules:​

  • 4 votes are needed for a thread to reach grace.
  • If a user concedes the opposing team will advance.
  • If a Team gets no arguments for around 2-4 days the opposing team will automatically go to the next round.
  • If a thread gets no votes or the votes are tied, I will decide who I think advances based on the arguments given.
    • If my team is involved, however, I will coin-flip instead to prevent any bias on my part.

How good will GRN be at working together compared to Freesmart? Also, since Ralsei can basically only provide everyone on GRN with some armors and healing items, Freesmart has much better equipment to pull from.
 
So, GRN shouldn't have a hard time dealing with most of the Freesmart members here. Helltrain's Bridge is open and dark in a few areas which should allow Decidueye to safely snipe at Freesmart while avoiding detection by masking it's presence. This is gonna make it hard for Freesmart to advance past the bridge since Decidueye is gonna constantly be tagging their weak points and its arrows should pop Bubble instantly.

With Decidueye preventing Freesmart from getting to their train, the rest of GRN can focus on going in and getting Freesmart's intel. Night Cap should be capable of sneaking past Freesmart with their stealth skills and invisibility while Hanami shouldn't have a hard time overwhelming them with their roots much more so in the enclosed space within their train. Ralsei can also put members of Freesmart to sleep to make GRN slipping in and getting the intel easier

Most of GRN resist cold and flash freezing so Freeze Juice won't work. The only thing they really have to be careful about is Pencil's Emergency Button and Zap Ray but they have ways of dealing with it. Decidueye is a much better marksman and has a lot mobility with their flight so they can prob shoot Pencil first in most scenarios. Night Cap can use Casting Shadows to mask itself and allies while forcing Pencil's weapons to overheat and have to cooldown before use. Hanami can overwelm Pencil with roots and block with them if needed. Ralsei can provide some protection to allies with FluffyGuard on top of likely just being able to avoid Pencil's lasers due to his experience dealing with Danmaku.
How good will GRN be at working together compared to Freesmart?
While they don't have prior experience working together, all of them are used to working with others in team units.
 
Free smart can use the magnet to steal the inteligence without needing to leave their base so they have no need to stay in the offensive and can stay defending the entire match
 
Is the intelligence metal? I don’t remember this being answered in Freesmart’s previous match

There’s multiple walls in the way so the Coal core would just get stuck. Even if it did get out. The wind from the moving trains is gonna blow it out of bounds and cause it to return to base. Theirs also nothing stoping GRN from preventing Freesmart from using the magnet since their already gonna be all up in their base.

The normal intel is a suite case so prob not for that one. Helltrain has a unique intel which is def metal tho.
 
Currently GRN’s arguments are winning me over, but I feel like Freesmart has room to do stuff with the crazy amount if episodes in BFDI. With all that said, I’ll tentatively vote for GRN

For now, I think I'll vote GRN FRA. Btw, in which key is Night Cap in? If he is in his heroes-battle for neighbour key and with spawnables and playing cards, that's a reason more why I vote them.

You guys are underestimating the magnets, they can pull stuff from kilometers away without It hitting anything. even if the magnet fails freesmart can use their elasticity to reach the inteligence without needing to leve their base

Trough I have to adimit they wil have problens with the stealth and overall skill their oponents face

I might be missing something, but the clips for the magnets on profile don't really show anything in the way of them that can stop what they're pulling from reaching them. Even if it could pull it out of the mansion train, as I noted before, there's also nothing stopping GRN from preventing Freesmart from using the magnet since they're already gonna be all up in their base cause freesmart is playing defensive. Decidueye can use Knock Off to remove the magnet from Pencil's hand, Ralsei can put Pencil to sleep or stall her by using his Social Influencing, Night Cap can freeze her or BFR her with their cards, Hanami can restrain her with their roots or put her in their domain, ect.
