So technically the dead/soul shouldn't required for oxygen isn't that right? So why can't all the being in the astral world have self sustenance including Griffith n the gang.

Makes sense to me. I mean we know there are God Hand's that have no internal organs, and the God Hand themselves are abstract entities

Pretty sure most spirit/ghost characters don't require oxygen (since they obviously don't have a physical body) and they don't have Self-Sustenance. Beings from the Astral World having incorporeality should already be enough to justify them being able to survive without oxygen.

Because it's redundant. It's like giving Atomic level Matter Manipulation to someone that can control fire at a basic level because even when, they're moving around atoms.
