Funnily enough mfs still need to draw powers from a higher-dimensional plane (Path Space) to destroy a lower-dimensional one (physical plane)

well they got one thing wrong. the tree grew from imaginary space not the sea of quanta. if you want the long answer id suggest reading some of the recent threads but thats still not even the full story...

attempts to create a solid plan for the cosmology r kinda theorycrafting until we get to see it in HSR one way or another. theres a big question mark between hi3's ending and whatever happens there up until welt joins the AE

A few things in this is wrong and the person doesn't give full lore , I get it's a Tiktok but it explains it in a way that I don't like.
I would say that, you have to play the games in order for the picture, or unless you're able to watch game plays of HI3 but I'd suggest playing it, as it's important cause content creators like to skip
You can't play HSR w/o HI3 , you'll confuse yourself, so start with HI3 before dipping into HSR.
And also look into some of the theads but most definitely playing it will help

the cosmology would be a lot simpler if the termanology was accurate. literally all shaoji had to do was say the imaginary tree is higher dimensional like hi3 and there would be 10x less issues.
also theres not really any questions after hi3's ending cause hi3 hasnt ended. alien space fills in the holes of why welt is in hsr which has little to do with the ending of hi3. the ending of hi3 is just kiana fusing with the cocoon to fix the damage the honkai did to earth.

Wuwa obviously have a wayyyyyyy good storytelling and cinematic compared to any hoyo games, but in term of story... Like nah, even i could barely found any peoples in it's own fandom that actually talk about the story other than which one is goonable
