  • Both sides have access to an SSD with all Chess books ever written up until 2026
  • Both sides had prep time
  • They are playing at home in chess.com with a neutral arbiter beside each (for flavoring sake, Le Batteur is beside Rimuru and Le Juge is beside Beatrice, with H-1A+ layer sticks)
    • Their PC have 1Gbps ethernet connection and 64gb of RAM
    • They'll play a best of 3
    • In the first game, they'll both open with the Bongcloud

Inconclusive. After a certain point in real world every match will end in a draw, and surprisingly the increase of Intelligence doesn't help with that outcome. Chess simply has no wiggle room for victory, if their intelligence is comparable.

Beatrice should be better at outsmarting tho, not sure it helps.
For clarification sake: Rimuru is also able to comprehend infinity in a finite amount of time and Great Sage, his own mind talking to him like an AI or something alike, is basically a chessbot, so yeah, their intelligence is more than comparable and he won't be outsmarted basically ever
The only variation those matches can have is if the opposing character don't solve chess by themselves and won't use the prep time properly

What a thriiiiiill

Starting the week with today 5pm BRT ending the grace period, f* yeah
