Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

I think it's way too early to judge that, NeverForgett is a new member who doesn't know how the forum works at all. But I have to say some things first: Forum overlaps can be bypassed by VPN, and the fact that NeverForgett was created on 10th of April, 1 day after LostLightt, and his first message in the forum was at the same day LostLightt was banned. If he's a sock, we gotta take into consideration the way they type.

Vzearr writes in a relatively normal way, but comes across as slightly robotic, sentences are correct but feel a bit stiff and templated, like someone being careful with their words.

LostLightt goes the complete opposite direction, using heavy slang, fragmented sentences and an almost cartoonish informal tone. Phrases like "Ur tryna debunk tr speed" and exaggerated reactions. It reads like someone performing internet culture rather than naturally using it.

NeverForgett extremely robotic, overly formal, no contractions, unusually structured sentences. It stands out immediately because nobody talks like that in a normal wiki discussion. It almost reads like a policy document.

If they're all the same person, it's like they all try to be so different from each other that it gets comical.

Lostlightt and Vzear are likely the same person. Did a complete flip on the personality and perhaps staging those discord messages to make it seem more different.

Some of us are simply neurodivergent.

I will agree they seem suspicious, though. I'll keep an eye on them.

So, I'm going through their post history, and I'm noticing some contradictory patterns.

They're posting pretty quickly in various different threads, making improper threads, asking to be made various staff positions, indicating a complete lack of understanding of how being a staff member on this wiki works and our general operations.

Yet simultaneously, they're messaging various staff members on their walls and asking them to evaluate their threads, paradoxically demonstrating an understanding of our approval process. They also haven't made any attempt I can see to make changes to pages on the Fandom site, which is something that most new oblivious users do first before being directed here. Not to mention that their response to everyone's accusations seem very artificial.

In short, it does seem highly likely to me that they're feigning ignorance and trying to act more oblivious than they actually are. Combined with the other patterns people have pointed out, it does seem likely to me that it's another sock/proxy of Vzearr.

Just want to add a bit context to the topic,

That may be because they were given instructions on how to get staff to look into their thread.

I believe they were told by @HammerStrikes219 that they need to ask a staff member for evaluation. As for the suspicion, the only similarity I can see between him and Vzearr is the downgrade thread. Their manner of speaking feels quite different, and it doesn’t seem like he’s forcing himself to act differently, which is something I noticed in the case of LostLightt and Vzearr (persomally).

That said, I do think he should at least be informed that he has been reported as a possible sock of Vzearr, so he has a chance to respond for himself @NeverForgett

NeverForgett has also shown to be ignorant regarding how we deal with calculations here, posting unapproved calcs in his threads not knowing they had to be accepted first. He also asked a regular user to approve them, thinking anyone could do that, and doesn't know what Calc Group Member is. If this is all an act, congrats, but he does seem just a new dude here, and we're just paranoid with all the recent events.

They were told after already trying to get staff members to their thread via pings.

I'm not claiming anything definitive, though, I think we can still continue to just monitor the situation for now.

I can vouch for informing NeverForgett to ask staff on their message walls.

I never told them to spam messages on staff’s message walls though as that wasn’t my intention there

Not all of it
The first one is Takemichi tanking explosions, which is using a manga panel
Vapour simply corrected it

the 2nd one, which is a speed feat, is from a manga too

The last one about the church pew is manga

Kisaki saves Mikey, who is unfortunately using anime, which is just increasing speed to 73m/s and should be adjusted and handled accordingly to the CRT about removing anime calc

edit: based on the post above this Calc is where the 1.84 megajouls came from
I would have this evaluated by another CGM or remove it. It was approved by Vzear... I don’t think I need to seriously provide any justification.

I am not Vzearr. English is my second language, so if I come off as robotic, I'm sorry, but I came to America, and I was also making blog posts before my forum account.
I had some trouble at first but I found your Fandom account.

You do have some blogs from up to a couple weeks ago.

You say you've been powerscaling since 2022. Where was that?

I don't think he has perms to post this in staff discussion.
Not report worthy (???) but just mentioning.

I think these kinda queries goes into ALP thread.

This person ALWAYS makes threads that have bad structure, and most of the content is just copy and paste, like the things he presented are already existed in the Abyssal Energy page or other characters' pages.

I think someone should give him some instructions, or even restriction. Cause, as a Genshin Impact verse knowledgeable member, i can't really deal with this.

He also can't provide the scans in a good way and everything is just based on Genshin Impact fandom wiki, and that's not even very specifict.

Idk man, this is just annoying. Every time he makes a thread, it always annoys me. He clearly doesn't know anything.

Yeah I could vouch for Sahl for this one, I mean as fun as it is when it was a General Discussion thread only, almost all of the abilities there are already listed under the page or the profiles themselves in which I don't really see the need on why especially if some of them are controversial abilities (i.e NEP2, AE or CM) with insufficient justifications and basically an explicit scans to suggest why. Not only are the text structures basically hard to read, it doesn't try to properly separate them at all nor if there was any reasoning why Abyssal Energy on its own would chainscale its abilities from Nibelung, the Twin Traveler nor the Sinners unless it was made clear they got it because of the powersource itself instead of it being their own abilities overall. I don't know how clogged Genshin CRTs are nowadays compared to Honkai but I remember complaining about these before Genshin is eventually made a popular verse so no 3 CRTs restrictions anymore, but still it's annoying yeah.

yea genshin being a contraversial verse aswell makes it harder for other supporters to post crts since they're restricted someone should definetly give him instructions on making crts and send him the discussion thread so he can talk to the other supporters before posting crts

No, we are not on that position yet (restricted to post CRTs). The verse is indeed one the most controversial ones, but we're not on that level of restriction.

Just want to clarify.

While I am not sure what specific actions are needed. The quantity over quality formats I will say is giving me some ZaStando flashbacks. I at bare minimum do think we should ask him to slow down and make sure to actually use his own arguments instead of copy/pasting repeated stuff before publishing. And especially to simplify his content revisions to make them easier to read.

That seems reasonable to me. 🙏

My suggestion is more or less what Mbpoops said earlier: that the staff should provide guidance and teach him how to create a proper thread. And before that, discuss it with other supporters so we all understand his goals.

I'm sure his intentions are good, but he just doesn't understand many things. 🙏

Are any of our other staff members willing to handle it please? 🙏

It isn't insanely bad. It's pretty much what you expected from the sentence structure. Still, it is intolerable.

We need to determine whether we think LostLightt is a sock, in a formal capacity. If we do not find the evidence compelling enough, then the behavior in that thread towards LostLightt, is really really bad based on presumptions. It's bad if he is Vzearr, but I'm not going to recommend even warnings in this scenario.

Personally, LostLightt's case aligns too obviously with Vzearr's to be anything but a sockpuppet, imo. We've established Vzearr as a sockpuppeter using VPNs, I can say from the log that LostLightt is also certainly using VPNs. I can say that other elements of his sign up info also strike me as being highly suspicious (I can share this information with high ranking staff, but not publicly).

Who posted it, what did they post.
I don’t think I’ve made the report clear enough, but I was reporting NeverrForgett for calling us names, mainly the b-word. It has now been handled, though.

Are you not mistaking NeverForgett for LostLightt?
ATP it just might not matter.

When he messaged me talking about how he could improve his English and he said whether he should use ChatGPT, alarm bells started to ring for me, but I let it slide after that Afghanistan comment.

Just didn't expect him to get banned so soon. Now that I see the thread name, it all makes sense.
