He had allegations???Thragg beaten up the fraud allegations![]()
I don't think they will, but I dl think they'll replace it with something less impressive like laying waste. The threat has a clear purpose so I don't think they're gonna omit that line altogetherI just wonder if they're going to cut the whole "37 Viltrumites can rip the planet in half" statement from Thragg. With the direction the shows going omitting lines from the comics and Kirkmans visceral hatred of powerscaling in general I say there is a very high chance its absent next episode.
Thragg had some considerable aura debt prior to this episode, but he paid it back with interest. He had allegations???![]()
I thought Mark shouted that cuz he didn’t want to blow up the planet, not that he was saying this cuz he wasn’t confident he was strong enough to. I’m surprised there’s any other interpretation to this small line
- Mark saying "We can't!" shouldn't be taken seriously to invalidate the feat. Nolan is not delusional enough to send them to their deaths
You’d be surprised lmao I’ve seen people in this thread use it to downplay the featI thought Mark shouted that cuz he didn’t want to blow up the planet, not that he was saying this cuz he wasn’t confident he was strong enough to. I’m surprised there’s any other interpretation to this small line
Well yeah.......ISL, even the dead bodies survived
Source?Well yeah.
If the Earth blew up now, the average person would only receive 9.7529412e+17 Joules of energy.
2.487e+32 Joules * (2 m^2 / 5.1e+14 m^2) = 9.7529412e+17 JoulesSource?
That’s assuming the planet explodes at baseline planetary tho when it’s 99% of the time far higher due to kinetic energy from the mass of the blast2.487e+32 Joules * (2 m^2 / 5.1e+14 m^2) = 9.7529412e+17 Joules
It's just inverse square law
This is against the rules btwAMA with the co-showrunner in a few hours. Drop y’all’s questions now if you want
I already posted a question pertaining to the Viltrum feat and to clarify how much ray and Viltrumites did respectively. You can probably find it quick on the thread rn
What if i asked why thragg is now the last airbenderThis is against the rules btw
What if i asked why thragg is now the last airbender
It wasn't a joke, it's very important to whether his profile should have air manipulation duhi guess jokes are fine or anything not for scaling
Also don't think they'll care that much to answerThis is against the rules btw
oh no!!!This is against the rules btw
then suffer in hell for all eternityIt wasn't a joke, it's very important to whether his profile should have air manipulation duh
This is against the rules btw
nooooooooooooooooooooothen suffer in hell for all eternity
could just change it to "Why did nolan drag his son into flying into the exploding planet. Does he want revenge on debby for paul? Is he stupid?"Technically it isn't. But whatever statement he responds with cannot be used as evidence for CRTs as that's from a leading question
Yeah but we're trying to wank the feat Q, smh take the hintWell yeah.
If the Earth blew up now, the average person would only receive 9.7529412e+17 Joules of energy. Forming a ring around the planet you're only talking about 9-B to 8-C levels of energy.
"Why didn't Debbie join in on the destruction of Viltrum"could just change it to "Why did nolan drag his son into flying into the exploding planet. Does he want revenge on debby for paul? Is he stupid?"
lol"Why didn't Debbie join in on the destruction of Viltrum"
Mfw Debbie did more damage on Nolan than Viltrum's durability did
Nolan moving a planet but struggling to lift a Viltrumite spaceship with helpAlso don't think they'll care that much to answer
Ngl I find Kirkman intent vs portrayal in regards to Viltrumites strength and capability of planet bust be painfully inconsistent show wise
Not to say I don't buy them being planet they are but i feel there's a severe inconsistency in it
Clearly that’s PIS to ensure the episode happens tho lol. Even a mountain level mark could tunnel outSame episode said Mark would die from tunneling through the Earth. Which Mark agreed with
The same infinity Ray that can destroy stars but not solo Viltrumand why Nolan needed the infinity ray to drill a hole through the planet.
True but the demons who’ve spent ages fighting her and know of her believe she could do this, meaning it’s likely a decent statement for supportSo her statement isn't that good. Her goal was also to build an army of lava demons to take over the world and not solo it, so overall I don't see that as a Low 5-B statement.
I’d say soSo the general consensus is show> comic scaling at this point?
I noticed that too, even with how many Viltrunites are there thayd be solidAllen claimed that the Viltrum Empire blew up Unopa back during the season 1 finale so there's a narrative here
I think the simplest, most reasonable and intuitive way to explain the Infinity Ray stuff is that the Infinity Ray overpenetrates planets, and as a result, it doesn't transfer enough of its energy to destroy it. This is like how bullets make small holes in thin pieces of paper despite being able to make bigger holes in thicker targets due to different amounts of kinetic energy being transferred into the target. The Infinity Ray would transfer more kinetic energy into a thicker target like a star than it would into a thinner target like a planet. The same infinity Ray that can destroy stars but not solo Viltrum
I mean its an anti-feat no matter what. The fact Nolan required the laser rather than just ramming through the planet only supports the statement even more.Clearly that’s PIS to ensure the episode happens tho lol. Even a mountain level mark could tunnel out
Which means that the Infinity Ray effects stars differently than it does a planet. A star is heavier, and the collapse is likely to cause it to go supernova, while Viltrum's solid core was likely just going to reform without further destabilizing the planet. The same infinity Ray that can destroy stars but not solo Viltrum
They made a single statement in passing and her plan was to take over the Earth with an army of Magma dudes. If she could do this at any moment, she probably doesn't require an army to accomplish anything.True but the demons who’ve spent ages fighting her and know of her believe she could do this, meaning it’s likely a decent statement for support
I asked what would happen if Thragg got hit by a shot from space racer's gun in a pretty open ended way. Also most of the questions are powerscaling related questions so we'll probably get something from the Q and A.AMA with the co-showrunner in a few hours. Drop y’all’s questions now if you want

I’m fine with this, seems like a good explanationI think the simplest, most reasonable and intuitive way to explain the Infinity Ray stuff is that the Infinity Ray overpenetrates planets, and as a result, it doesn't transfer enough of its energy to destroy it. This is like how bullets make small holes in thin pieces of paper despite being able to make bigger holes in thicker targets due to different amounts of kinetic energy being transferred into the target. And it’s irrelevant no matter what unless you genuinely believe the setting is below the AP you’d need to tunnel from the crust.I mean it’s an anti-feat no matter what. The fact Nolan required the laser rather than just ramming through the planet only supports the statement even more.
Yeah this was mentioned by another connenter and it makes senseWhich means that the Infinity Ray effects stars differently than it does a planet. A star is heavier, and the collapse is likely to cause it to go supernova, while Viltrum's solid core was likely just going to reform without further destabilizing the planet.
I mean it’s one argument alongside the ones you yourself mentioned are fine lol, it’s really not a deal breaker for me either way if you consider it or not. They made a single statement in passing and her plan was to take over the Earth with an army of Magma dudes. If she could do this at any moment, she probably doesn't require an army to accomplish anything.
I don't mind saying that Omni-Man, the disk, and the ram combined support a Tier 5 rating, but the arguments presented above are not strong supporting evidence.
AP wasn't the issue as stated in the show. It was stamina and length of time. It's a direct anti-feat and backed by Nolan's actions with space racer. And it’s irrelevant no matter what unless you genuinely believe the setting is below the AP you’d need to tunnel from the crust.
I never brought up the core statement. You're arguing against a straw man here. The statement is did use was the one made in Hell that Mark never went against.Nolan’s death by hitting the core statement doesn’t even exist in the show so what are we doing here
