It's gonna be extremely hard for Soldier to kill Homer, especially that Peter and Homer can beat each others ass to a standstill, taking them both damn near everywhere and surviving vast injuries, far higher than Soldier Boy can dream. So he's willing to put up them dukes for a LONG ass time. Much so that Homer may eventually win just because of his absolutely overwhelming stamina. Soldier Boy can have that training and experience, however Soldier Boy will get worn out eventually after taking a massive beating for a long enough amount of time.
Soldier boy can go boom boom however Homer is the same guy who got legit flattened and got his ass beat in a nuclear reactor while getting blown up.

Yeah, although I can totally see Soldier Boy landing much more hits in the first half of the fight, Homer's stamina would probably outlast him. Also, I'm pretty sure Soldier Boy's explosion thing will be useless, so yeah.
