I think I have an idea, first of all MoL absorbed Lucifer’s magic to turn into a beam and fire it. So Lucifer’s magic in general has the power that scales at that level, we know Lucifer also physically got weaker which links that to his magic at the very least. Combined with the statement about Angels being made of pure Light which some can use for attacks like Adam leads me to believe Angel UES could stay.
Another argument is that we saw the gate of Heaven made of Angelic steel somewhat survive the beam, then we have characters like Base Charlie breaking one using her shield, Adam directly overpowering them etc.
There is a few ideas, anyone want to help me figure this out?
But we have to wait and see how the thread even concludes since some arguments are still flying around there I believe

I don't think the getting weaker thing is anything cause even Stolas (Who's magic has nothing to do with his physicals) was winded and couldn't stand up after his magic was taken away from him.

How do you know he was trying to get up? He is devastated and blatantly not fighting back/resisting, or do you think Stolas regained all his energy in the 5 seconds after he was kicked out the door? Lol

Honestly I think this is because Stolas was emotionally devastated due to having just learned that he wouldn't be able to see Octavia, especially since we later see him face first into a bath tub despite having been fine physically right before

This is about Stolas, who has pretty bad physicals compared to his magic. Eden is using that to say UES doesn’t work, I am arguing against that.

One of the arguments for UES is that things like magic naturally impact the physical body, so things like "I drained the character's magic and he became physically weakened" are part of UES.
If you're saying that this doesn't happen in UES (the character being physically weakened by magic being drained/removed), then UES doesn't exist in that verse.
And if you're saying that this is something exclusive to Stolas (magic not having a physical impact), then that means that in UES magic isn't a standardized power system and we can't generalize UES because each character's magic system works differently, so we can't compare how each character's magic works.

Funnily enough, Stolas' magic being a UES would only apply to demonic magic, Angelic wouldn't be touched cause different systems.
