1. We were never given a size for hell...sure we can ASSUME it's at least as big as Earth but that's just it...an assumption at best. Also even assuming it's Earth sized...

- Who's to say Darkness's Darkness encompassed ALL of Hell?

- Even if it did...how is that an AP feat? Just seems like a good range feat for his darkness



2. Falling Devil's gravity feat is debatable on whether it even scales to AP...it seems like just gravity manip with insane range


3. Pochita erasing a devil who embodies the fear of a "Star" =/= Erasing a star...and also erasing a star with concept erasure=/=scaling to Star level AP anyways


Speed feats for god tiers is fine I guess

Also side note nice pfp, loved that song/video and was spamming it in my car earlier to cleanse my soul after the initial read of the final chapter lmao
 
I was really hoping coping for some kind of final confirmation for hell's size ( and possibly some feats since Denji said he was gonna eat a bunch of strong devils ) when Denji and Yoru ran into it but they never so much as left the door they were at and instantly left killing me inside lmao

yoru is not bad he has some good hax a good AP for the tier he sits in unfortunately there was not a feat at crazy levels except the environmental destruction feat...but at least there is an excellent speed for the characters
This verse suffered from the fact that Fujimoto apparently no longer had the desire to go too far with the story so he ended it extremely quickly but it's better this way than finding yourself with a manga that's too long or made reluctantly but only for the money

I partly found the ending nice and partly it disgusted me because of how fast it was for me a little more time to manage the post fight Fujimoto could have afforded it... I would have liked a slightly happier ending for Denji after all the troubles he went through... it would have been nice to start again with AsaDen somehow confirmed I would have been very happy for Denji's character... I'll argue better much later...

Skepticism won't work on me. Kinda odd to separate their respected powers from them physically since the very fear of it, is what empowers them. But even then at most its relative to planetary tier. And I'm more just speaking on the fact you're downplaying the verse as if the feats don't imply a greater interpretation of threat to the world than just ap. Like everything ain't gotta be direct feats, the story portrays the primals as transcendent existences even to the dozens of tier 7 devils that we know of.

Mhm and the nuclear devil doesn't actually scale to nukes right? And the typhoon devil can't actually produce typhoons right? Erased = Scaling. Fear = Power

If its only about them not punching hard then so what really? Still has consistent speed scaling that's pretty high for recent manga (kinda) and their hax alone make ap pointless.

This is sadly what it feels like recent mangas have done. I wish they had more freedom in time, monthly periods of manga releases wouldn't have been so bad to reduce and make proper decisions for the stories.

And probably none of the insect devil besides Kamen Rider will get a spot
 
So is Pochita's erasure completely worthless in debates?

Like with certainty now?

Or is it at least viable win con in a fight against someone with Type 2 Concept Manip?

it would be excellent in my opinion... however in this last narrative arc am I the only one who found a bit of inconsistency in the characters' resistance and regen?
am I wrong about something?

Nah Fujimoto had to ignore both their existences ( even ignoring his own lore about Hybrids for the latter ) so that Denji had no support and could be written into a misery **** plotline for 100s of chapters

Not even killed them off...just pretended they didn't exist only mentioning either of them once and even then without naming them ( a reference by quanxi and a memory pochita gave back to him )
 
Anyways, are we gonna say for 100% certainty that Pochita is actually Chainsaw Man Devil? Like it isn't even vague anymore, it fits the theme and what happened near the end of the last chapter where Asa seemingly brought Pochita back to life when she said "Chainsaw Man".

Which means Pochita has plot manipulation gg its so over.

Tbh I do think Fujimoto is more inclined to enjoy morally grey stories. After all, he did recommend it.

I think Yoru just didn't bother taking a human body until she knew where Chainsaw Man was.
 
Seriosly, many of the events in the story, to not say ALL OF THEM, are linked to Chainsaw Man in a way or another.
The only reason why Future Devil saw the death of Aki, is because Chainsaw Man was responsable for it

Because Pochita erases himself, but the saw isn't erased.

When Pochita erases himself, he erases all the plot holes in the story, but because the story is full of plot holes, all 231 chapters are erased except for volume 1 (because it's only volume 1, there's no plot to constitute a plot hole yet).

I mean the big thing in my view is that like, the world should canonically be messed up in all kinds of ways. Like Chainsaw Man ate away the four conclusions other than death and stuff like Eldeitch stars, additionally whatever the Chainsaw was supposed to do thst involved trimming concepts like messing with the Garden of Life/World Tree.

Him not being there should result in a fudmentally different reality rather than Part 1 but nicer.

But also...without him, most if not all of the events of the story don't happen, since he was a central part in the events

Well I guess Pochita can't renege on his own contract. So he would've erased himself up to Denji's contract with his heart I guess?
