All Purpose Dragon Ball Thread

I dont think so

Sometimes, I wish Ki in Dragon Ball was something that contains all an individual's fundamental aspects of existence, makes up their identity, and is the thing that forms an individual's will. They could write it in a way that makes it so learning how to manipulate Ki would allow you to alter reality around you to bring about something you desire, on top of everything it's currently capable of. You could also make this property the reason why individuals with stronger/more potent Ki automatically gain resistance to all the powers and abilities of an individual who has weaker/less potent Ki: the weaker individual's will is not strong enough to overcome the will of the stronger individual.

do we have an actual multiplier for fusions? everybody i see gives a random different answer

It's accepted that Base Fusions are stronger than the Fusee's strongest forms.
  • Base Vegito in Buu is accepted as stronger than SS3 Goku.
  • Base Vegito in Black is accepted as stronger than SSB Goku.
  • Base Gogeta in Broly is, I believe, accepted as stronger than SSBE Vegeta.
So on and so forth.

So there is no 'hard' multiplier.

Yeah. There are several indicators of it having time: Saiyan Saga Goku needing to hurry up to train with Kaio-sama/return back to Earth before saiyans reached it; Buu Saga Kaio-sama claiming the time left for the Budokai tournament to take place & Goku realizing the time for said tournament has come; Whis rewinding time to revive characters who died by the hands of Frieza in RoF (which should've affected the afterlife given souls are sent there when one dies); or just the fact that there is no time dilatation between the Afterlife and the Living Universe, unlike what happens with places with different flow of time like the Room of Time.

Goku must be referring to his body not having concept of time due to it being dead. I.e., time doesn't pass for it. Not the place being timeless entirely
He specifically refers to the place being timeless, not the state of being dead; he was still dead when he used ssj3 in the mortal world and it drained him heavily.

Here's a good question, why doesn't Videl have a Toei profile?

I mean she has enough filler, movie content to make one

Could someone be so kind as too give me scans of time power erasing things without burning the time scrolls

Bro y'all actually still put Kid Buu below Buuhan for the manga are you serious? Reopen my last thread that's on my profile, it's definitive proof of Kid Buu > Buuhan. For those of you who are on the fence please read my post I promise it's worth it. If any of you want to reuse my post, or edit it into a better version, add links to scans etc. feel free to. This is getting ridiculous lmao. Most forced debate in DB history that won't die because Buuhan fans won't accept the truth. Can some mod or something tell me if I can reopen that thread, or add a new one if I add links? Give me a deadline of a few days and I'll do it, I'll make the final version, if necessary I'll consult mods to make sure it's up to standards.

Yeah, Majin Buu is easily the most toxic debate in the community, but you'd see why it's so stupid once you get into it. People are stuck in a loop of confirmation bias reinforced by decades of headcanon that just can't die. Beliefs from 2000s forums repeated so many times people took them as facts. To this day you see the same arguments "Gohan is the strongest unfused fighter in Z!" "They didn't fuse for Kid Buu!" And the worst part of all are mistranslated scans and possibly worse, the mistranslated official translation from Viz. It's going to take a miracle for the community to be cured from this and I don't blame you one bit for not wanting to be a part of it.

i heard countless arguments from both sides

and frankly... both make good points
buu saga scaling is filled with inconsistencies and "retcons"

this reminds me i wanna make a crt for pilaf saga goku

Try reading arguments from people who are going beyond the obvious and you'll clearly see who's correct. Not the typical arguments from Buuhan fans I mentioned or the "He's the final so automatically he's the strongest" Kid Buu fan arguments, but actually analyzing the evidence. Dragon Ball media has been almost unanimous that Kid Buu is the strongest. Shueisha, Toei and subsources (WSJ, VJ, Daizenshuu, Chouzenshuu, Forever, SEG) all point to Kid Buu being the strongest with minor exceptions (as with anything in dragon ball), the only real sources for Buuhan come from Bandai and other video game publishers and even there Kid Buu has a sizeable lead if you count. You'd have to completely misunderstand or not care about dragon ball history, the way it was produced, the role of the anime, Akira Toriyama as a writer etc. to be pro Buuhan. The first two comments on a thread I made that started the revisions that were made were "Don't care Buuhan solos" and "But they didn't fuse for Kid Buu as far as I remember" and both were addressed in the post lmao. DB fans just don't read.
