Yeah Homelander should win this one
Double AP and Durability advantage, Heat Vision has much superior range and she has no heat resistance which is another win con. Not only that but the huge lifting strength advantage. 400 tons far upscale 2-3 tons. Not only that but somewhat superior combat skill (yes) and experience too
She has might have some extra hax and the Zwing, but John can just laser her from far range, as we have seen him do that before on numerous occasions, especially with his double AP.
Few things I wanna add.
Firstly Higumi’s durability is 898 Tons. Which is higher than her AP and Homelander’s on top of low mid regeneration to make any damage he’s doing with punches not a real problem. His main way to win would be decapitation, directly beaming her heart or frying the brain with heat vision.
Has Perception Amplification under Someinine which lets her perceive things much faster than her, which would apply to the heat vision, making easier to anticipate and dodge when combined with the Acrobats and her skill (I’ll get to that later)
Homelander’s strong sense of hearing makes her extremely vulnerable to Hifumi’s awful singing voice which is a sonic weapon that hurts to listen to if he can ever manage to get her into a hold. Or she could just do this anytime she really wants. If she catches on he’s uniquely weak to it, she basically has a free stun.
In combat skill I’d definitely give the edge to Hifumi. Given that she’s in the top percentiles of Silver Rank Spies. Which puts her in an equal to or greater than skill tier than
Pre Timeskip Taiyo Asano (she mainly lacks the gifted intelligence rating cause combat skill ratings were gutted and her general intelligence is mid). As well as
Futaba Yozakura and
Kyoichiro Yozakura when they were younger. The former being an Aikido and Japanese Jiu Jutsu master at 3 years old and the latter speaking for himself if you read his profile. Her information analysis martial arts wise is so good that she figured out how to not only counter but reproduce Post Timeskip Futaba’s Aikido Ball technique after seeing her do it only twice. While actual grown adult Aikido practicioners before the timeskip couldn’t decipher Futaba’s techniques or develop a counter. Which she did with zero prior Aikido knowledge at all. So I can imagine her being able to read Homie like a book after a quick exchange. CQC is basically Homelander’s worst way to fight here.
And since this is a forest, there’s a lot of Tree cover. If Homelander decides to float away and camp from a far, he’s not hitting her thanks to the stealth mastery + perception amplification. She’s gonna close distance or Homelander won’t make much progress is how I see it if he instead hovers high in the air. Plus would Homelander really wanna fight that defensively against a child? Granted a child who can actually draw blood from him, but a child.
