Gaiden Rengoku and Signpost of the Wind Sanemi will be used

Well, Rengoku fought against a weaker Upper Moon, but he was alone. Sanemi, on the other hand, fought against a stronger one, but he was with Masachika and depended entirely on being Marechi to survive.

Assuming the two are comparable, I don't see how Sanemi could defend the ninth form, so Rengoku has a better chance.
 
Yeah I’m leaning towards Rengoku. Fought a weaker LM but soloed it while Sanemi got a promotion for doing half the work against a slightly stronger LM.

One fought Upper Moon 1, another fought Upper Moon 6. Sanemi has also been a Hashira longer the Rengoku.
So, Rengoku becomes a doughnut again.

Uh, Rengoku never fought UM6, and Sanemi hasn’t fought UM1 in this key either.

These are pre-Hashira keys for both, when they were both still Lower Moon rivals.
