Hello everyone, back again with another upgrade CRT. This time for Lara Croft of the Survivor timeline (or soon to be just "Lara Croft" since Crystal Dynamics are planning on unifying everything to just one timeline and I do plan on making a CRT merging them when the 2 new games comes out [or maybe just Legacy of Atlantis] but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it)

This is another relatively simple one since it’s literally just one tier away from 9-B. This calc for Lara surviving the explosion of a house was accepted

That, combined with the million other 9-B feats she consistently no-sells, this should be more than fine to apply

And just in case someone asks, yes the survivor timeline comics are canon the the survivor games:

  • Gail Simone, the writer of the 2014 series, explicitly stated in interviews that the comic series is
canon and leads directly into the sequel (Rise of the Tomb Raider).
  • Crystal Dynamics Global Brand Director Karl Stewart confirmed that the development team worked closely with Dark Horse to ensure the comics accurately "flesh out the world" and chronicle the official timeline between the games with the specific intention of being canon extensions of the Survivor Trilogy games.
So yeah, that’s about it

Agree: @ShakeResounding, @Dalesean027, @Maverick_Zero_X, @Random-Helper323

I just started slowly replaying 2014's Tomb Raider with my gf a few days ago lol.

I'm no math whiz but I don't think this would be an outlier considering the literal slew of 9-B feats she has (as you mentioned). I agree, for whatever that's worth!

True, it ultimately depends on execution. If they’re direct remakes with continuity differences, they’d warrant separate indexing. If they’re narrative integrations into a single canon, then a merge would make sense. We’ll have to wait and see how Crystal Dynamics handles it.

more than likely the latter since CD already said that it will all be one canon with the survivor trilogy serving as her official origin story and Catalyst serving as a direct sequel to Underworld

Let me know when the edits are done so I can close this thread, okay?

If Crystal Dynamics fully merges the Original, LAU, and Survivor timelines into one canon, major continuity issues would come up. There are clear inconsistencies between those eras that can’t just be ignored.

Unless they remake or heavily revise the older games to align everything properly, a seamless merger would be difficult without major retcons.
