Shinjuku Mahoraga was adapted to something 2x of Gojo's raw output (Red), smth that could also harm Sukuna alot more than regular Gojo punches and he got vaporized by Purple, which Sukuna survived. By your logic Sukuna shouldn't have survived this since Purple > Red >(2x)> Gojo ~ Sukuna. The fact that people still misinterpret how the adaptation works is actually insane to me, it isn't an immediate "I now scale to/above you".
Mahoraga was also obviously adapted to Gojo btw, he literally blocks black flashes from him even.
As for Dabura getting whooped, he was simply not fighting as he should before the lightspeed kick, it's why even after the kick he's able to fight Mahoraga off screen quite easily and was still overpowering him, even having time to develop his reversal while fighting him. Dabura wasn't fighting properly.
Also just so yk, the main point was that Sukuna is indeed physically comparable to Dabura especially in durability which is still mountain - large mountain via the ke he had to withstand while accelerating. (Not the kick itself)

The cope to upscale Sukuna is funny as hell, there's nothing to scale Sukuna to Dabura at all, just glaze and lies to the maximum

The alien invasion is directly compared to Sukuna in the story because of Dabura:

And the promo video for volume 1 confirming it further that they are on the same level.
It's Yuji's VA talking by the way so if you think it's yuji narrating it (possible), it's even more demeaning since it means Yuji, who saw and fought Sukuna, is saying they are on the same level as well, re-confirming there is no "gap" between them.

Damn, parasitism on full display. When Dabura and Modulo Yuji had no feats, we heavily relied on statements to try and have them scale to Gojo and Sukuna. Now that Dabura and Yuji have great feats, now Sukuna and Gojo have to depend on those same statements to try and scale to the Modulo feats. The parasitic cycle of statement power scaling

Dawg the god damn promo video with Yuji's VA narrating re-tells you again that he is Sukuna level. The god damn description of the volume describes him as Sukuna level, and they have parallels to each other in both the manga with the calamity stuff and outside of it in arts with Gege drawing them mirorring each other in each series.
The fact you genuinely think Gege was tryna portray anything other than "Sukuna level" with those statements is blatant ignorance.

There's nothing to debunk because there's nothing of substance to the statement. Yuji can be completely ready to fight, it doesn't mean he'll win or means he scales.

That's a shit excuse to say someone scales. Everyone could feel how strong Sukuna was and still knew they'd died to him. Also, Yuji's statement reads as taking responsibility, its got nothing to do with scaling. But this is supportive not concrete, so hopefully whatever's the main argument is concrete.

I'm intending on redoing that calc based on Dale's comment below but I have exams and other work I have to get to first so best not to use that calc for now until I can find the time to fix it up
Also what Sir Marvulous said I think KE is kind of pushing it considering we see literally no destruction anywhere

How much are you planning to adjust the volume by? Even at 0.1% its still about 700 Mt, a lot more reasonable or even at 0.05% at > 100 Mts

Yeah so I looked it up apparently irl dust storms are like, genuinely tiny in terms of actual density of dust and it completely dropped the values lmao
In case anyone wants to check it out I updated the calc (Be warned it has the other end also so it's long as hell). Turns out wasn't actually that bad only took me like 20 minutes to find a source then I just swapped some numbers around.

Honestly, we all know island level Yuji wasn't lasting but this works as an upscale still just fine since Uraume stuff is being rid of (well, the big shard will scale to MCB and the Frost calm to small town) and there's a whole discussion thread on mechamaru so only large town scaling will be gojo's casual earthquake (164.16 kilotons) and yuji's causal dismantle (150.18 kilotons) meaning my goat still did a Gojo/Sukuna level feat casually

If the dismantle was the cause of the “explosion” wouldn’t the dust be following the direction of the dismantle and not flowing upwards?
