Minor for some, major for others downgrade for Sonic speed

Might start going through the pages today. Is there any reservations on the scaling chains presented in the OP, or the removal of infinite speed from Secret Rings to pre-Colors for base cast?
 
The new baseline makes no sense. Why should every super form upscale from the upscaling of feats base Sonic achieved over years of matching foes who are technically "Super form level"?

Yeah, I was thinking 7 chaos emerald multipliers above the baseline for that era. I don’t exactly agree with each the logic of 2 emeralds = 4x, 3 emeralds = 8x, etc., but that is what is accepted.

TBF the logic makes sense. Chaos Emeralds get stronger when they're together and the fake emeralds are described as woefully underpowered in comparison to Chaos Emeralds while still being more potent than power cores.

Moreso I disagree with power cores being 2x multipliers on other power cores, like if you look at heroes a second power core makes you 3x stronger, a third core makes you 4x stronger, etc. So it’s more like cores are an n+1 times boost where n is the number of cores, as opposed to right now where it’s treated as 2^n.
 
Bump. So what now? Does the thread need more staff input or does it just need to be applied because "major Sonic CRT 3" just inconviently dropped?

Just saw this but... i hope you are not using HP damage scalling... that is game mechanics and not applicable

I've been saying that from the start. I tried to get it fixed with a CRT but it got rejected.

I legit still don't understand the confusion... if you multiply 2 by 2, you get 4, now 4 is the new value, if you apply another multiplier of 2, you get now 8 cuz the base value increased

I don’t want to derail this thread but this has never been stated anywhere, IDW has never had characters with multiple cores get confirmed multipliers. Starline jumps from wall to uni+ with Tricore so he’s not a good example. The HP scaling is game mechanics but it’s legitimately the only time we see multipliers past a single core.

Normally Darkspine and Excalibur wouldn't change but, since the Secret Rings infinite speed feat might be axed, they would just go down to MFTL+. Darkspine has its own feat of warping the entire Nights, but at minimum it would upscale base Sonic at the time. Excalibur would similarly upscale base Sonic.

I see, dosnt that affect AP too?
 
Probably, Erazor and Sonic will most likely go down to 3-B or 3-C by the time of Secret Rings and AP will return to as they are now after Colors and Gens. high 3-A might stay if the babylon guardian stays but idk about that.
What are you talking about? The Arabian nights stay tier 2 regardless. And for god's sake, can we stay on topic please?

Actually, should the baseline really be 9.5 sextillion c? Since this result is during Frontiers and before Frontiers Sonic would go on to match or surpass his past Super form
