Would Completed Shigaraki vs White Mask Obito be a fair fight? He can one-shot him and his Edo Jinchūriki by just touching them but they also have abilities that can allow Obito to defeat Shigaraki, like sending him to the Kamui dimension. I think Edo Madara could also be fun but the Susano'o complicates things.

Danger Sense and his own busted ass prediction ability that could read Gear Shift like a book despite the speed gap had it not been for Izuku being able to ignore inertia would certainly help since that's basically how Minato was able to bypass Kamui in their own fight, although that was a much younger, less experienced Obito too.

Doesn't seem like it, although there are certain stuff in Bleach as well as powers that have what can be called enhanced or layered invisibility. Like low tier souls not being able to see whatever that high level souls or strong Shinigami can.

Bleach, a bit more complicated cause I remember back in the day Bleach matchups were almost impossible cause Bleach fans would always spam "reiatsu crush"

Yep, pretty much the primary issue with Bleach matchups. Not to say reiatsu crush is not valid but it makes any match a stomp against characters without resistance to spiritual pressure.

Doesn’t Deku need cursed energy to actually be capable of gang curses though? Or is there another way? He can definitely fight sorcerers though.

Depends on whether Curse Energy has exclusivity even with "normal" supernatural interaction or if normal NPI/soul manipulation means they can be interacted with.
Though I guess Deku doesn't really have a proper way to interact with spirits, let alone curses, so he's generally a poor match against supernatural entities.

Cursed spirits are not intangible.

It seems a lot of people think this. They are invulnerable to any attack without cursed energy. They cannot be damaged no matter how powerful you are, if you don't have cursed energy. Toji can't even harm the weakest cursed spirit without a cursed tool. Yuji, before he learned how to imbued his strikes with cursed energy, wasn't able to harm a Grade 2 cursed spirit. However, he was able to interact with it. He could touch them. Everyone can touch a cursed spirit.

Non-Physical Interaction is meaningless against a cursed spirit, since they're already solid. They have invulnerability.

Weaker curses can become intangible to phase through walls, but that's about it. Stronger curses are unable to phase through walls.

you don't really need NPI to hit them (Besides like, lowgrade spirits, which are intangible) as someone with zero CE and no NPI (outside of CE tools) can punch away a cursed spirit, you need invul negation to harm them and that's why CS matchups suck to deal with

from what I hear on this site, soul damage (on certain cases) can ignore ivul, Shigaraki has a multitude of souls within him and it's currently accepted on the site and was kinda used in DB that if you connect to Shigaraki's and all for one's souls like how mahito does and how SNS did, the souls in shigaraki will jump you and damage your soul with Shigaraki straight up damaging deku that did physical damage to his body on his own while having his own soul soul manipulation resistance to boot. AFO attempted to erases shigaraki's soul from his body and nearly did so if he didn't get saved by Nana.
Plus, they did some admittedly wonky verse equalization type thing that he could just see him with search and that, since Shigaraki can see Deku's vestiges, he can see Mahito.
Plus plus, no one wanted Mahito to win, JJK fans hate that guy

Got it. I did think after posting that the souls damage could come into play somehow, but I wasn’t sure if that would be enough to get past the invulnerability.

I haven’t actually seen that matchup on here. I only got into MHA in mid-2024 and JJK mid-2025 so I avoided debating those verses before I had enough context on the characters and their abilities (and I haven’t even finished JJK yet).

I find it funny cause deku's LS is absolute ridiculous by how high it is cause this guy could throw godzilla like a toy into the moon lmao and when i imagine it sounds so damn funny lmao like a green haired broccoli kid walks up to goji and binds him with BW and throws him into space with ease (this is excluding goji tryna fight back btw)

When I first used this site and saw MCU/DCEU characters able to lift HUNDREDS of Godzillas my mind was blown. I’d never thought of them as that strong. And then I saw what some versions of Godzilla are rated at lmao
