Incredibly unlikely they will change the Greek gameplay or the plot itself. It'll most likely stay the same as the old ones barring some QoL changes like a better navigable menu, more extensive lore in the Codex and fixing up some of the notorious jank like the traps in the Temple and in the Underworld.

Some cool new lore in Sons of Sparta.
- Dionysius's birth is canon. Zeus's true form killed Semele when she looked at him and he stitched the baby onto his thigh.
- Aion seemingly exists in the setting, based on the name of a move that causes "temporal disruption". He's the personification of eternity in myth so I wonder if we'll see more of that.

- Morpheus is born of Nyx. As are Thanatos and Eris.
- Hemera isn't Nyx's daughter in the setting. She's also born from Chaos.
- The Primordials are referenced. They battled within Chaos, the "formless void" from which "all of existence sprang". Uranus won and assumed command of creation.
- Circe is the daughter of Helios and confined to the island of Aaea (prolly butchered the spelling).

- Themis was wife of Zeus during the war and got cast into Tartarus afterwards.
