Giga Queen (Delterune) vs The Pathfinder (Deepwoken) | [0-2-0]

  • Giga Queen is used
  • Speed is Equalized
  • Fight takes place in first layer
  • The Pathfinder is an adret and has Evanspear-Greataxe with Whistling periapt as their weapons
  • The pathfinders will also be a linkstrider with curse of the no life king, tacet & corrupted payback
  • SBA for anything else

Added a set distance (forgot darkners have really high range)

edit: actually considering their temperetures I think SBA distance is fair
 
What is deal with temperatures?
Fire based attacks in deep scale to lightning now and ice-based stuff scale to the -200+ range

If I put them like right in front of each other and PF uses that its kinda a stomp (ofc PF dosen't lead with it though I think)
 
Also Deepwoken needs range calculations

Wouldn't be that hard either if we used a giant like the elder primadon but oh well

most long range matras are capped around 60 studs max (except for certain thundercall mantras), for weapons uhh go here.
since this isn't bloodlusted, my guy will test a bunch of mantras on which is effective against her considering he has plethora of those, as well as linkstrider has negative link that makes her 10% slower and takes 20% more damage to us, as well as parasitic leech (as long as shes connected to us, we can siphon her for health).

The starting range is probably going to be an issue for PF from the looks of it (700+ meters)

honestly im starting to think its gameplay mechanics, because theres one NPC who can hit you grand javelin further than 60 studs.

The ice attacks are useless but the 30k heat is actually insanity
 
anyway set the PFs wincons
this is tough, considering frostdraw is out of the equation the only thing matter is thundercall and ironsing(??). He's also gonna be a damage sponge on this fight as he has alot of sustain options with payback, llinkstrider, nlk. He can prolong this fight as long he can tag along.
 
What can Pathfinder do if Queen sends all her clones to kick and punch him?
block/parry/dodge

They should be able to dodge her clones and use their damage transferal (prediction and corrupted payback) to their advantage. Pathfinder should know in advance that they can't parry or block her attacks with their precog

The acid shouldn't be much of a problem, they can tank acid from the Arachnid's Weave corrosive touch, which can dissolve armor decorated in gold (i was waiting for a CRT to write that btw, so it's not there yet)

For the ferris wheels and the missiles, pathfinder should be agile enough to reliably dodge the missiles and slide under the wheels

Dang, the soul manip would be quite a problem too, the Pathfinder can tank hits from the Umbrite Witherblade, which drains souls on hit but ofc silly me didn't expect the matchups and so i didn't put that they should be able to resist that, so we'll atleast assume they know they're taking dmg in wither


For the Pathfinder's wincons, they should be able to beat Queen with enough hits but they should also be able to completely melt parts of her with their fire manip that goes up to 30000°C because thundercall is op for some reason, use electricity manip to fry her mech, or use their tacet to do some undercover attacks, like climbing her and breaking in the visor

For clarification's sake, resistance to soul manip still wouldn't mean much because every UTDR character also has resistance to it and still takes damage from it.

I was under the impression this was there for resistances...

this makes things more interesting
 
For clarification's sake, resistance to soul manip still wouldn't mean much because every UTDR character also has resistance to it and still takes damage from it.
they take normal damage from it tho (as in tank it the same way they would a physical attack)
What does the madness and fear manip do?
Starts small but gets crazier overtime
