I hate to say that I agree lol. Although if Metal Sonic does win I hope at the very least the DB don't downplay Cell for no reason to do that instead of just giving Metal Sonic decent scaling that would just be the worst of both worlds.

I still can't believe they said the Chaos Emeralds were only universal off of the Sonic Rush feat to compare it to the universal Grand Stars, but then said the comparison is different because Solaris is maybe multiversal before disregarding the comparison entirely by just saying the Chaos Emeralds being multiversal wouldn't matter anyways because Bowser has hundreds of universal Grand Stars all in the span of like twenty seconds.

Literally, good music, decent gameplay from what I've seen(refuse to download R*bl*x), a lot of toxic community members but that's a victim of being on R*bl*x, didn't take itself too seriously like a lot of Sonic.exe materials...

And yeah.

It was a good run while it lasted. Was a genuine bridge between the Sonic and exe fandoms (weirdly it kinda helped reignite my love for Sonic).

There's a bunch of other inspired games that are coming from it and TD but that'll be a while.

TD IIRC died because SEGA slammed it, OM died because leadership trained into someone who can be generously described as incompetent.

Personally the only thing that really bugged me abt Eggman VS Bowser stuff is the Egg Wizard downplay. Like yeah I know it looks bad at first when you consider the planet busting laser, but the context is what makes it an actually good feat. Egg Wizard is stronger than what Eggman could imagine despite wanting to harness the dimension merging power of the Chaos and Sol Emeralds in the previous game, despite creating star level weaponry and knowing of the Eclipse Cannon, Chaos Emeralds already being planet level, fighting a post-06 Super Sonic and Burning Blaze, both emphasizing they needed to use their max power. All this without counting the PoTS being able to anchor and stabilize the link between two universes, possibly creating them. I believe that's enough evidence to suggest that it's just the AoE that's planetary on Egg Wizard.
 
Death Battle fluctuates a bit at where they put the Base cast (Tier 5 was implied in Shadow vs Ryuko, Bowser vs Eggman had Tier 7, etc.), but I imagine Cell is easily going to take stats until Super. They aren't buying Universal Base, it'd shock me if they acknowledged something like Sonic tanking the Paradox Prism (which is at least a blatant on-screen Tier 2 feat that needs no hoops to jump through).

Either way, Metal will probably win. Let's just not be obnoxious during this waiting period since I know I'll have to read constant posts about it for a while now

Yeah albiet to be fair that feat was done in conjunction with the Sol Emeralds so it's perfectly understandable that they'd just say 1/2 of a 2 universe feat is universal. Frankly I myself agree with that logic more than the arbitrary 2-C gaps here but that's just me.

However then saying Solaris and by extension the Chaos Emeralds were only maybe multivesal was straight up cope ngl. And I still have no idea why DB didn't just compare the Chaos Emeralds to the Pure Hearts instead of the Grand Stars especially when according to them the Pure Hearts were crucial for resisting Eggman's hax yet they were only ever mentioned in random black boxes. Anyways I should probably stop before I spend all day talking about Bowsegg...again.

I don't know, but you were scarily accurate with predicting Bowser vs Eggman. So User do you have any bets on what DB will give Cell and Metal Sonic for stats as I'm genuinely curious on how close you will be to accuracy before even the pre-views are out this time?
 
If they go casual mode, Solar System Cell beats SonicColorsBlackhole aka Large Star lvl base Metal, but Super Neo is universal at minimum.

The problem is, there are ways to get both higher, but while VSW buys Super Neo (and base Metal lol), DB could buy Cell higher than Super Neo if they dont go with Infinite timelines scaling or higher Ds.

Weren't there arguments that the Sol Emeralds did that on their own asides from the instantaneous collapse with both? Bc of the special stages and such

Metal is going to take everything. They are going to use Toei to highball Cell but Metal will still take it. The only W Cell might get is being stronger and faster in base but he's getting outhaxed to hell. Swan himself already said Metal wins. It's a pity win.

They will find some bullshit excuse like "Sonic was near the prism, which actually, protected him from the explosion instead of actually tanking it, since others just got fragmented instead" (basically they will made up a excuse to say Sonic doesn't scale to that in durability)

Maaannn Can't wait for it, to end with super neo metal sonic unable to beat/kill cell because he lacks the DC/AOE to destroy all of cell body.

Ah, well the argument I've seen is that the Special Stages are where the Chaos Emeralds are truly residing during Rush. Eggman Nega states that "Even if they are not with us, if the Chaos and Sol Emeralds are together, the dimension could collapse instantly due to the uncontrolled resonance of power." But as we see in-game, it was not in an instant, making it possible that it was just the Sol Emeralds at first and the Chaos Emeralds would naturally scale to that feat
 
It’s sad that the community pretty much forced DA to quit making DBs but at least he’s going to go out with a good episode.
