Gerson has all his equipment, but Bowser gets nothing (Except a Grand Star) since ironically that's probably the most fair way to set this up.

There are no accidents. Master Oogway just doesn't have a 4-A key. Also, I picked Gerson because he's directly inspired by the Koopas.

Unless I'm messing something, Bowser is 49.70 PetaFOE while Gerson is 16.88 ExaFoe which I believe means Gerson one-shots. I'd recommend giving Bower knowledge of Gerson being able to one-shot him cause if not he just gonna try and go into CQC which isn't gonna go well for him due to the ap gap.

You could give him his Resurrection items but like Earlier Times and Retry Clock but that'll prob make it a stomp for Bowser since Gerson can't really win cause Bowsera's just gonna use his hax on him before he can do anything after time rewinds.

So the wiki doesn't take immortality or regeneration into account regarding whether or not a character gets one-shot? That doesn't sound logical.

I dont believe Bowsers High-Mid regen is potent enough to allow him to survive an attack many times stronger then him and his Mid-High takes a bit of time so even if he would come back, it would prob still count as a win for Gerson under SBA wincons.

Koopa's point I think was that in-character Bowser would try CQC without stat amps at first which means he won't have time to use them.
That said, what stat amps does he have? I think to make this fair, we should give him just enough items™ to be on a similar level to Gerson rather than just give him all of them.

OP should prob reset votes since the only person who voted is Nonynho for Gerson, even tho I'm pretty sure no ones really agued anything here yet since we were trying to find the stat difference.

Assuming both have comparable AP cause I still dont know the AP gap , I'm pretty sure Bowser take this handily. Bowser resists soul manip so he doesn't have to worry about Gerson's soul dura neg. Bowser can deal with most of Gerson's danmaku by hunkering down in his shell with can no-sell comparable attacks. He can also suck up all of Gerson's projectiles, block with a a barrier, or use Zone Speed slow down his perception to more easily avoid Gerson's danmaku. Even if Gerson tries to trap Bowser in Green Soul mode, he can reflect the wave of energy to avoid it. Offensively, Bowser can easily suck up Gerson with his much higher LS, cut his strength and durability in half with Terrorize, cook him with his fire (Gerson's resistance is 537.222c while Bowser's fire can harm peeps who no-sell lava which is between 700c and 1200c), transmute him, etc. Overall Bowser should be able to take this low-diff.
