MATCH RULES

So, Raven is about 1.5x stronger with her magic. Considering Lyric upcales from no-selling his value, he should overall be about equal to Raven's magic AP. While Raven does have a much higher LS, afaik she doesn't use her TK to crush peeps in character (if she did, she would have stomped the Tiersetter). Lyric can keep distance with his much higher Travel speed while spamming energy projectiles back at her or overwhelm her by summoning his Destruction Troops in mass to attack her.
 
Raven seems to be 27.76 times physically weaker without magic, so there's that.

How often does she use things like teleportation, time stop, mental powers, and the like?

I think Raven can handle projectiles pretty easily with barriers or my creating and manipulating rubble. She also has her own energy blasts that she can spam while flying around to handle Lyric's goons. She has a pretty decent AP advantage so Lyric will be feeling it after a few good attacks.

I would not call it decent in all honesty, its a 1.5x gap (or around that ballpark), not even double Lyric's AP and defense.

Lyric can pretty easily deal with a rubble defence with his lasers, which should be able to pierce through it. As for Raven's barriers, he can prob overwhelm them with the Destruction Troops' projectiles and numbers. He also might be able to land a sneak attack by spawning Destruction Troops behind her and having them shoot her while her barrier is down.

A lot of Destruction Troops, like Shocker's and Rocko's are also capable of flight, so they should be able to chase her down mid-air. Lyric himself can pressure Raven in the air with his own flight to keep her closer to the ground.

Lyric is a good bit stronger than his value (He's stronger than Metal Sonic, who takes no damage from Knuckles' punches, who performed the 48.31 kiloton feat), and since the difference AP is only like 1.5x, Lyric should be able to eat a good amount of hits from Raven's magic.
 
To make matters easier against random soldiers and surprise Lyric, she can just send an energy like she regularly does, but explosive. So he'll never know 100% what's her next move against him (Laser, shadow or explosive shadow)

Also, if she explodes his extended arms or just lasers them, his shield gets down, according to the video showing his boss battle, and this will not get through her, who uses everything around her and pays deep attention in what's going on. And from his weakness section, enough explosions of somewhat his AP level will cease his spawn of fodder soldiers, and if that's his main strategy, gg

He doesn't seem to have much of combat intelligence aside from a feat, from what the section makes it seem, while Raven is everyday having to deal with various types of enemies, sometimes with her team, sometimes alone.

Also, for that point that she usually doesn't overwhelm people with her TK...Not 100% correct. If lasering does not work, she eventually will do it, she is basically your min maxed RPG character, who knows her combo very well and will combine everything to her favour if she doesn't get heavily countered or instantly dealt with. And as everything leads to an extended fight and the opponent is overwhelm-able by TK'ing rubble, she should have the GG, basically like sonic save from spinning lol

About shields, she is very proficient at them and they usually take a lot of effort to break, against opponents at her level, and if that is not what she's resorting to, she gets intangible, usually to portal/tp around.

If sonic can 1v1 him with spin dashes and Team Sonic dealt with him in an extended fight, it really seems like he can get overwhelmed by more resources attempting to overwhelm him, specially since his material shows him being quite repetitive (part of it is forgivable since Game Mechanics is a thing, but that guy is really repetitive, his phase 2 against his 1v1 with sonic has almost 0 variation from phase 1, and you cannot tell me this is PIS)

disregard Time Stop from this fight, she used it once when she lost control of her powers...but she doesn't use it again IC nor in other times where she lost her control (and whenever i revise the profile i'll go into more detail for it)


TP is something she does very often and very skillfully. She usually also portals around so she can fool him to try and predict falsely where she'll portal to, for example

They literally have multiple ways of ******* over magic being cast and hardcore resist it lmfao
 
Will also heavily depend on the environment since Raven has TK and you can't Magic Resist being hit by a car, but we'll save that for the quarter finals
