It's said that Ben's able to over power the null void portal's pull that was able to drag Cannonbolt, giving him peak human lifting strength, but there's a problem. The pull is from the gravity the portal generates, meaning that the force Ben's subjected to is going to vary with his mass (m*a=F, the formula for force with a in the context of gravitational forces being the gravitational acceleration which when talking about one gravitational source is practically treated as a constant), meaning human Ben with the mass of an average human child is going to be subjected to drastically weaker gravitational force than the one that subjected the 500 pound Cannonbolt.

Luckily for the other aliens they can retain the peak human scaling as Cannonbolt, who can overpower the gravitational force he's subjected to, isn't really considered impressive LS wise when comparable to the other aliens.

I don't think thats the case, ur assumption assumes force is varied because mass varies but force varies due to both, mass and acceleration. Just because you placed a smaller mass within the force field doesn't mean its gonna change the force itself, that's independent of Ben's presence, its just gonna have a different acceleration than the previous object.

Edit: nvm. I didnt noticed Its the game one where nullvoid projector is described as gravitational pull, yeah makes sense.

No since the portal is described as having a strong gravitational pull, it behaves like gravity. That means the force it exerts scales with the mass of the object, not that the force is fixed.

I agree with the OP.
