Star Wars Discussion Thread Canon/Legends- Episode VI Return of the Threadi

For example, Yoda's lightsaber is quite small.
That's why Yoda is an exception.

Also I decided to quickly check the video of the door melting feat to pixel scale the length of Qui-Gon's and Obi Wan's blades, and they're the same length, hilt length does not matter at all! If you want to insist that there is a length difference, it's only 2 pixels, practically miniscule!

Is any of these statments scalable to characters?
Darth Vader.
Now that we have calculations for tier 7 and 6, I think this is no longer an exaggeration/outlier.

[Novel] Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back: So You Want to Be a Jedi?

In my own timeline for Star Wars, TCW takes place in the final 9 months of the Clone Wars instead of the 3 years, what does everyone think?

If you think a lightsaber is more like that and should have the temperature of that thing, then just make a CRT arguing that.

Good job on the lightsaber calc. Just looked through and I think the steel melting end is still an upgrade to saber resistant materials that don't already scale higher like Beskar. I haven't had any lucks with responses on my calc though, so I'll probably abandon it for now, since my free time is dwindling.

The high 7-C downgrade is funny in hindsight now, but do wonder who will be good matches in 6-B

Ooh sorry I thought the high 6-A got recalced again, I see an earlier statement applied to supporting calcs only.
I mean, in the distant future, smaller Force users will probably be tier 8 (like Kanan from the first season and Erza from the first season), but it still requires calculations to be accepted and other things (for now, basically everyone is downscaling).

It kind of depends on who's downscaling, especially Yoda (and Plo Koon, since I have a scan saying he's one of the most powerful Jedi in history) in CW.

I also collected scans that contribute to Dooku downscaling Yoda. Which affects people in CW.

Yo I got a feeling we are getting Vader vs Maul or something
If there is one, I don't think it will even be a real fight; like, Maul is so afraid of Vader that just sensing his presence made him flee the scene immediately.

Maul led Bridger to believe that the holocron would only provide them with knowledge and took advantage of the boy's honesty to forge a temporary alliance with his mentors Kanan Jarrus and Ahsoka Tano, which led to the deaths of the Inquisitors who were pursuing them.
The Jedi realized his ruse once the superweapon was activated, and the arrival of the fearsome Darth Vader completely thwarted Maul's plan, who fled to Malachor in one of the The Jedi realized his ruse once the superweapon was activated, and the arrival of the fearsome Darth Vader completely derailed Maul's plan. Maul fled to Malachor in one of the Inquisitors' Advanced TIE fighters, once again unable to take his revenge on the Sith.

[Book] Star Wars. El Lado Oscuro

I want to see the excuse they'll give (through WOG because there's always that) for Maul not having killed the first and eleventh brothers when they went hunting him.

I don't like the BBY/ABY dating system in Star Wars, it feels like was created for fans in reference to the first movie, it's not exactly based on anything in lore like how events in LotR are dated.

Like how about for an epoch we use the founding of the Old Republic 25,000 years ago, or the Battle Ruusan which acts as an entire reboot of the Old Republic, or the Great Resynchronization which was essentially the equivalent of the implementation of the Gregorian Calendar, the founding of the Galactic Empire, or the Battle of Endor which marked the final defeat of the Galactic Empire?

Because we use what is officially used by the franchise. Whether you like the date system or not is not a relevant factor.
