Project Soul (Soul vs. Project 99) (0-0-0)

Hell yea lets go, this match aboutta be fire

Something that I'll point out immediately is that Soul doesn't have any crazy hax as a child, a solid half of them can be achieved by a normal human if wanted. Similarly for Project 99, the lack of Tabbie means that he no weapon except for his rusty wrench. EXCEPT he has his massive ahh bone spike, that of which can allow him to keep his distance. Project 99 notably has the advantage in pure AP, Range & LS, whereas Soul seems to have a lean in IQ and Stamina.

Nows the part where I start asking questions lol

Why does the bone spike have durability negation capabilities? Mariah is the same tier as Project 99, there wouldn't be any proof of those capabilities unless Mariah had a higher AP or invulnerability - which she has neither :000

What is the deal with the spikes? I noticed that the spikes are mentioned a lot, but some scans imply that it comes directly from his hands while others imply that it's a large spike that pops up through the ground. Which one is it? And is there a scan for the hundreds of meters range gained via it? :3

hmm.. I believe the bones work the same way Sans uses his bones for attacks. I believe they also Pierce Mariah through her skull too, I’ll ask though

alright this works

If any bone attack landed and managed to pierce skin, it'd be insta-kill territory. Luckily, he has the ice armor to combat this, but that is a solid win con for Project 99 :0

Mitt's village is a fairly open space, ignoring the nearby dense forest there's a statue of the mayor in the middle and houses spread around the village via a path, typically around 20 feet away from each other (at least from what I can remember lmao). The Poison Ivy Grass Knuckles wont work against Project 99 due to their resistance to it. Soul's much more likely to use optional equipment to his advantage as a child, due to the fact that his ranged capabilities don't exist until he's an adult. Project 99 lacks resistances to the Grass Disco Ball and the Old Spear however, meaning that those absolutely will affect him if hit.

How big are the bone spikes?

Hmm that would be difficult to handle..

Brb

“The typical spikes are the same size as a 3 story building/house. But the size varies..“
Anyways uh-

The 8-A durability won't help him crazily when it's only like 20 tons under Project 99's AP, and getting close will be hard given the spikes' size. Now's the part where I ask how much the spikes are used, as depending on the answer the matchup thread could end right here lol

Uh?😭 Uhm.. anyways.. I guess, 200, maybe even 240?

200-240 times per match? Per minute?

Per giraffe? >:3
“Total, not per minute.

The 200–240 number is the upper limit across the entire encounter, usually spread out over multiple moments of extreme danger or focus.

Project 99 could spam them endlessly—though bone spikes require buildup, physical strain, and adaptation triggers but sometimes, they activate quick without meaning to. Most fights only see a handful at a time, with large bursts happening once or twice at most.

Think situational eruptions, but also a constant barrage.”

That's enough for me to vote for Project 99 here, it's hard for Soul to attack when getting close means dodging building-sized spikes that can also easily one-shot. Project 99 FRA :3
