The problem is Weiss has multiple ways to take Bakugo's explosions out of the fight entirely by restraining him and preventing him from aiming them at her without blowing himself up, as well as being able to summon her summons directly on top of Bakugo. And Weiss is the one with better mobility here due to having true flight on top of her non-flight mobility, whereas Bakugo only has non-flight mobility

Is the difference between Gravity and the explosions really that noticeable in the context of this fight? Unless it's another flight ability like riding Nevermore.

Even then, I question if that would make a difference as Nevermore was a weak summon anyway and Bakugo is a ruthless but gifted fighter who uses brute force and observation to surprise, something I think would help here.

Weiss is able to give herself wings using a partial summon of the Nevermore on her back, as well as using the Queen Lancer as a flying mount. Also the Gravity glyphs are being kinda downplayed in this thread in general as theyre able to restrain Low 7-B level characters

Weiss will use gravity glyphs to knock bakugo out of the arena, she will use restraing glyphs to prevent him from flying around and aiming his explosions at her, she will teleport her summons on top of him to split his focus, she will use time dilation to blitz him, and she will use restorative to outlast him. These are all things she will do.

The original version that weiss fought was yes, not the summoned version. The summoned version upscales from weiss as its amped by her semblance and is significantlly stronger than she is.
