Honkai: Star Rail Discussion Thread

Ironically at the same time they did this they also took Phainon out from even the Speculated Emanator section, 2 steps forward 1 step back i guess lmao.
Well Phainon's weird because he had power comparable when he ignited the countless coreflames but obviously lost that power. Then he had an Aeon's blessing (required for an Emanator) via Golden Blood but now he doesn't have it anymore. So realistically Phainon was comparable in power then straight had the requirements for one and now has neither. Oof

HSR Wiki finally moved Cyrene and March out of speculated emanators to actual emanators. When will Evernight show up 🙏
The text they use clearly states that all conjectures include those of the recent Emanators of contradictions, which is... rather ironic, I suppose? In any case, a Pure Child of Anāsrava will be considered an Emanator; they literally have the ability to become an Aeon, and from what we know, three or perhaps four known (Cyrene, March, the anonymous creator of the Garden, and Ambiguity on Evernight) possess powers that rival those of the Emanators.

Yeah it's so annoying how it's verbatim stated that "Each Aeon has their own different ways of making their Emanators" yet people insist on wrongly saying that "Well then that character isn't a Emanator cause they don't work like this other Emanator!"
isn’t it because people think the spirits are the actual “emanators” and not the people wielding them. So jingyuan is in fact not an emanator which is the entire debate.

Because he’s not. Zephyro was continuously beating his ass. It’s clear the phainon emanator agenda is dead

Emanator has two definitions: a person who enforces their Aeon’s will (their Path), and a person who can “draw directly” from the Path itself.

Arbiter Generals are confirmed to fit the first definition (enforcers of an Aeon’s will), but it’s still not confirmed whether they fit the second definition (those who draw directly from the Path).

Not to mention, HoYo really AVOIDS calling Arbiter Generals Emanators, which I think is VERY sus.

So, I think Arbiter Generals are people who simply wield an Emanator’s power, like Stoneheart or the Trailblazer. However, unlike them, their spirit is considered part of their body—not just a weapon by pistol rating—so that gives them an immeasurable rating similar to Emanators.

I mean, we have this

I mean, we have this
mean, in CN there’s a small difference: Black Swan says “Emanators’ power” rather than just “Emanators.”

And Pom-Pom’s article only explains the first definition, which is “enforcers of an Aeon’s will.” Whether they can draw directly from the Path is still unknown.

2025 we debate generals being emanator when
black swan is calling them emanators
dan heng says to be emanator u must use aeon blessing
spirituses are blessings from lan
generals use spirituses
its so simple bro
Yeah, Stoneheart or trailblazer are emanators too since they use cornerstone, emanators is a "title" not just a "power".

Idk man emanator level person using blessings from Aeon they follow which is requirement to be Emanator makes it sound like they are Emanator idk just me being diff

What the hell did you say right now
Its literally said that
cornerstone members use 1/10 power of Emanator of Preservation
what makes TB emanator?

Stoneheart having at most 10% of Diamond power for each Stoneheart and TB who can be clapped by Titan who is literally just an extremely powerful Pathstrider somehow being Emanator level is just so Mythus moment

If by “Aeon’s blessing” you mean “Aeon’s power,” then maybe — but Emanators aren’t the only ones who have an Aeon’s power. Fuxuan’s third eyes are also considered an Aeon’s blessing, so does that make her an Emanator? Of course not.

Did you know the actual number of a Preservation Emanator’s power? Even 1/10 of an immeasurable power is still immeasurable, not to mention that those Cornerstones are the reason Aventurine was able to survive Acheron’s slash and Acheron's horizon of existence.

TB’s Belobog spear is an unpolished Cornerstone, according to Aventurine.

That doesn't mean anything, and as far as I know (although he was involved), Trailblazer isn't even confirmed as a Preservation Pathrider, and that spear didn't even come from him; he literally stole it.

That’s what I mean — just because they have an Emanator’s power doesn’t mean they are an Emanator.

TB isn’t considered a Preservation Pathstrider, but their weapon is still classified as an Emanator’s power. Does that make TB an Emanator? Of course not.

Can we make Ebon Deer 1-B?

The weapon makes no mention of any power? That's precisely the problem. While it's strong and allows him to deploy a very powerful shield—since it withstood Aquila's maser beam—it in no way constitutes a power resembling an Emanator. And Aventrutine's quotes are far too broad to be interpreted so precisely.
@CastoriceTheFifth PERFORM CONCEPTUAL ERASURE ON PATHS PRESERVATION ON JARILO SIX TRAVELER KEY
XD

As I said, he's heavily involved, but it's never mentioned that he became Pathrider (and the same is true for HMC).
Only Destruction, Remembrance, and Trailblazer are confirmed.

Go to 3.5, find the scene where we attempt to use powers of paths we have to escape exomyth and tell me why the **** did we try to use preservation and harmony to try to escape

Pop quiz. When did Stelle become a pathstrider of Destruction and when did the game spell it out for everyone after people kept yapping about her not being a pathstrider of Destruction for 3 years straight?

If being gazed by Qliphoth the very Aeon of Preservation and having the will of Preservation so strong that it caught Qliphoth's attention (notoriously known to do f all besides creating walls) doesn't make TB Pathstrider of Preservation, nothing that Mihoyo can throw at us in the future will ever make TB become Pathstrider of Preservation

There's also this in the main story of all places, you know totally not legit
Try to seek help through the power of Paths
Focus and resonate with the Destruction.
Focus and resonate with the Preservation.

She literally said that her gaze gave him the ability to wield the spear... I'm not stupid enough to say he gained nothing from it, but this statement doesn't confirm that either.
Or the game doesn't need to spell it out every single time.
I said "involved"

Devotees, warriors, seekers of knowledge, lost travelers... There are always mortals who, intentionally or otherwise, set foot on the Paths ruled by Aeons. Those who do so came to be known as Pathstriders that carry out the Path's will.
You possess the power, therefore you are Pathstriders. TB is a Pathstrider whether they wants it or not.

I never said he didn't possess the power, I said that doesn't confirm he was a Pathrider. The rest is factual, no?

A Pathstrider is a term referring to those whose wills align closely to a Path, and therefore are able to draw power from it.[1]
TB will corresponds with paths he currently
follows, so hes obviously pathstrider of those paths
thats why lygus call TB pathstrider of destruction and oronyx calls TB pathstrider of remembrance
otherwise it would be something like “you who has power of destruction”

The fact Jingliu seemingly snatched lightning lord from Jingyuan tells me everything I need to know about their emanatorhood.

Mister “all apart of my calculations” needs to be put on fraud watch
