Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

No he was actually still the strongest, it was literally David vs Goliath until Alastor split Vox from his other crap and weakened him.
 
Confused about why everyone is suddenly saying the realms are universes. In the same source I saw pop up here, Viv says this:

The idea of them being planets makes a lot more sense with how we see them and how characters interact with them.

Also, very easy to "calc". If the pentagram is a planet, and a device powered by Lucifer's strength could destroy half of it. Then we could easily just say he's Low 5-B, being half of baseline planetary level.
 
I JUST FIGURED OUT LUCIFER DAMAGE

the answer is funkin andre, his form can be "hurt", but without something on his level (in luci's case), the damage cant stick, so Luci IS unkillable, his physical form is just able to be pierced and whatnot, the damage doesnt last. Also I find it funny that Luci managed to handle having his big named anime attack CONSTANTLY firing for minutes on end and only started feeling it at the end, imagine if Jotaro could just keep a timestop going through sheer will after the 5 seconds, lol

Either 2 ways

a. Vox is "officially" the strongest via royal decree, alastor is still the strongest but he's not recognised as that which alastor then used to break the deal on a hyper-specific technicality

or

b. Vox only for the moment was stronger until alastor started shit talking on live tv gained more power due to 100% approval ratings. Vox was comparable if not stronger at the start until his ratings went down as the fight went on

Alastor states that he is still most powerful Sinner but loses, no? Vox also doesn’t deny that and iirc will reaffirm that

Might me misremembering but what weapons did it have? It'd be very weird for Mammon to have a Robo Fizz of his own establishment be dozens of times weaker than ones he sells ya know.

It doesn't, either the hazbin cast downscales (which doesnt make sense), or the imps drastically upscale (which also doesnt make sense)

It had several blades, and I believe weaponized wires with sharp points. Mammon doesn't exactly expect a group of LGNs to smash up his place, you know.

mostly because of the fact that Hell, obviosly, has stars on the sky and is obviosly, not a planet, it is another dimension...also we had a similar situation with another verse, cof cof, GOD OF WAR

In general. Rewatch Season 2 and tell me Vox isn't a damn genius. The guy is a political mastermind whom constantly turns situations to his advantage until he gets ahead of himself and basically goes mad with power. Which isn't an intelligence anti-feat.

Because she says "they're like two different planets" She's essentially saying they're 2 universes that are connected because they act like planets in which you can physically travel between them.

bruh that doesn't even make sense. We literally just saw a device shoot a beam from hell to heaven. Completely disproves them being spatially or temporally separated. We watch the beam travel through space and hit heaven in the sky. Unless you think it somehow split through space or something, that's pretty damning for the idea of them being universes NGL. It could just be that they are too far away to be directly flown from. Or maybe in the future something will confirm more about that distance

This is massive cope to try and save a statement that is massively contradicted. Also she could just as well be saying "their own universes" in the sense of them being their own worlds with their own societies. It's not a concrete statement and it's not going to hold up due to the verse not having anything else to suggest universal size or even universal mechanics. Especially for the purposes of VSBW lol.

Hey Buddy, the next thing to do is get the cosmology statement past mods. We're probably going to end up in tier 6 since conservative interpretations are certainly going to be thrown and any possiblys shot down.
