  • This is a race. Kinda. Not really. Idk
  • Majima’s on his Y3 pink truck (so no subsonic movement speed ig)
  • The “race” starts on a medium distance course. Majima drives and crashes in right after the gates open (a wonderful start from all runners)
  • First to finish wins.

I can see Majima doing absolutely crazy things with his truck in the race, but I don't know if he'd even adhere to race rules by crashing his truck onto her or something then finish the race lol.

Any ideas on how to legitimately change his mindset or should I keep the current rules and just let that remain a huge advantage for him or whatever
 
I'm honestly unsure. He can be good at driving (based on his gaiden with dragon kart), but with his truck, he'd likely aim for Teio at some point.
If you want to keep it as an advantage, sure. You can also change him to driving a go-kart instead.

I mean, Teio's AP and LS means it shouldn't hinder her at all unless Majima's truck is just as strong as he is if not stronger. In fact, she can probably flip the truck over if she wants to.

I'd say that AP would be on his advantage, since even the mooks I figure would just heavily downscale from Kiryu, and they were afraid of getting hit by the truck. LS is on Teio, especially if we use her Class K.

Is Majima as good at driving a truck as he is with a go-kart? The biggest issues with trucks are their size and weight which make them much harder to maneuver, especially at high speed. Like, he won't be able to just drift around sharp corners without slowing down significantly or risking a crash. It'll also make hitting Teio more difficult since Umas are pretty agile. An advantage he may have is a higher top speed, but I'm not sure if he'll be able to put that to good use.

I figure he's not bad at driving, as much as we like to meme about it. Both his crashes and drifts made in the cutscenes are deliberate moves done by him, and while his mad dog persona would play it off as him being bad at driving, the actual thought process he has would at least have him be good enough to maneuver a truck. The only problem is that we have a miniscule amount of scenes to judge whether he's intentionally bad at driving trucks or genuinely suck at it.

Also, I feel like he won't literally drive right into her, and just opt to ram her by the side.
 
I guess using the truck is still fine then. Lemme change that back.

using kart here sounds boring anyway

I mean, he seemed genuinely worried that he could've accidentally ran Kiryu over. I would say that he's at least worse at driving trucks but not really bad by any means, probably above average at best.

It's a risky move if Teio is running close to the edges since she can avoid it by slowing down and he'll be slamming into whatever is serving as barriers.

I'd currently vote for Teio. Majima is either gonna crash into something if he's actually bad driver or significantly slow down when he needs to turn around
 
I'll be voting Teio. The truck is too big and difficult to maneuver for a horse racetrack. I see Majima crashing by either going too fast trying to keep up with Teio and not being able to turn fast enough at a corner or trying to ram into her and missing, crashing straight through the barriers and going off course (since he literally crashed his way into the race). Even if he doesn't crash, Teio might eventually just resort to flipping the truck away, especially if Majima's trying to hit her. There's still a chance he could win by hitting Teio and if he manages to overtake her, she'll have a hard time taking back the lead due to the massive truck blocking her off.

for all I know he can just leave his truck and start running, or pull out an ak and start spraying the entire track with bullets and winning by default

i mean if he actually does do all of that then teio doesn't win here and all of the votes are invalid

like right now teio's winning cuz maneuvering a truck is harder than running on the track but if he gets out of the truck and guns her down then all of the previous arguments are now moot lmao

mb on the whole “spraying ak” thing, his ass never done that, especially not on non-threatening people in a damn race lol. Most of the “he does all that” stuff has already been argued by people above, and already said that him jumping out of the truck to box people is unlikely maybe. Chances of that happening are lower given that the whole premise is him joining the race by crashing his truck into it- and he's Majima, so, uhhh

I totally see Majima not doing any of that and only trying to run her over just because it's funny. Why would he go on foot if he has his company's truck which he would probably think is faster? He can't pull out an AK because he has never done that and doesn't even have guns in his equipment.
 
Majimbo doesn't wield an AK even in Dead Souls so...

that is a fair point

so it's statistically more likely that he just tries running Teio over?

well... a lot of the tracks in Umamusume have some straight ass lines. If he just goes forward on said lines Teio can't dodge too well without exiting the bounds of the racetrack and forfeiting the race anyways

I'm sorry for being a massive stick in the mud but this match is so dipass goofy and it's funny as hell so I wanna think of as many potential scenarios as possible
