Why the hell would Alastor downscale in speed? If anything he should upscale, he was hit precisely zero times except the blinding light attack (which he was in uncomfortable position to dodge from i. e. floating in the air, and STILL blocked). He was only blitzed in weakened form.

Except Lucifer himself is unserious. And unlike your claims, there is not a single angry expression at his face and he jokes about him losing both wives. When he gets actually angry cuz of Charlie, he proceeds to blitz him.
Also you’re acting as if Alastor has huge anti-feats against Lucifer, which I believe is not the case?

We see how Adam fights when he is serious. Insert every other argument here, because we've done this a billion times.
I guess Adam's sheer AURA can disable Alastor's magic, because he was in a braced pose when the camera cuts to him. Not a "Oh shit I just fell" pose. Let's say he was floating for the hell of it, all he has to do to dodge is move in any of the four directions(He's faster, BTW), instead of put his cane out to block(He's faster, BTW)
Do we want to say Alastor is that derift of skill and the ability to read his opponent that he landed and let himself get hit? Or is it that he's that ******* stupid in combat? Should I start using that as an argument against him in versus threads?

And people have different fighting styles! He fought Charlie H2H, Alastor with axe, Lucifer with both dragging and lasers. I can be equally aggressive in boxing, with a knife, or a freaking mini-gun.

Magic works weirdly in fiction, you know? Also why would he just go back to the ground while he was pulling “I’m gonna wipe that grin off of your face”?

Notice how with Charlie, he wasn't doing beams at all. And notice how with Alastor, the moment he got serious, he attacked with a beam then melee, and NOTICE, how with LUCIFER, he was doing a mix of beams and melee!
