Chainsaw Man discussion thread

Hm. Might be dumb, but I think that post-nukes Yoru's weapon transmutation has layers, on top of being way more simple to activate. She can transmutate devils, which already resist Doll Devil's transmutation. Its either that or resistance negation
 
I really can't see Dollification working on a primal fear. Weaponization already did, albeit on a supposedly weakened avatar of one.
Granted without a way to measure the abilities side by side it wouldn't really work within the wiki.

I have reached the most recent chapter in the manga and I would like to express my opinions,

Since I finished the manga in 4 days and didn't wait for the new chapter to come out, it just sat there in my head like a movie.
The storytelling in the first part and the beautiful distribution of this narrative across the arc's was very good in terms of flow, it progressed by arousing curiosity, especially about both the confrontation with the Gun Devil and the mystery of Makima. The devil designs are so good, so creative that I read some panels with my mouth hanging open, It had a good ending and Makima's death made me feel relieved, Beam's death made me sad, such a loyal friend is irreplaceable, he saved Denji's ass many times. But Aki's death tore me apart...

If I talk about the second part, it started better, even more delicious than the first part, but unfortunately it did not continue, it started to progress like the story was still not planned where it would go from the Chainsawman Church arc, While I was reading this arc with curiosity and pleasure,mangaka suddenly killed Nayuta, and I'm still in shock. I continued reading without knowing what to say and with my blood frozen. It made us witness Pochita's legendary fights. Look, I really enjoyed the epicness of Pochita's sequences, but it seemed like Nayuta's death wasn't in the plan, it was like decided to kill him at the last minute and Pochita forced rush into the battle.
The war devil and Pochita had an incredible battle and I watched with bated breath again, But the Aging Devil entered the story and took us further away from the story we expected. We saw some good sequences again, but the way the arc ended made Nayuta's death meaningless and pointless, which made me angry because it felt cheap, we didn't encounter such things in the first part, unfortunately I couldn't help but ask myself, "Is this part started of losing the depth of the story?" Then surprisingly it was revealed that Faming Devil was actually Death Devil which was a really nice Twist, then Death Devil made fake Chainsawman, Fami and Falling Devil attack Denji and Yoru, Yoru suddenly got a power up which was really funny that she was in love with America all this time, anyway then Denji is stuck between two choices etc.
then Pochita was forced into the story again with Yoshida's death, we watched cool scenes again and we continue to watch but now I started watching saying "what the f*** is happening?", this situation annoys me on the one hand and on the other hand I am very curious about the new episodes because I continue to enjoy it, btw I wonder if Fujimoto consulted Gege before committing some of the deaths?
 
I have two questions. First, is the new chapter airing today?
Second, there's something in the manga i don't understand. I think I missed a few details while reading.
What changed that makes Yoru claim he can turn Denji into a weapon now, even though he couldn't turn him into a weapon in the first place? This is the part I missed.

She got stronger and her powers enhanced. Previously, she was weaker than Denji, but no longer.

Yes, in terms of strength and fear scaling, but only Pochita. Yoru can only reach that level with weapons. However, there is a significant difference between devils feared on the level of a Primal Fear and being a devil with the name of a Primal Fear.

I mean, her hax has always scaled to how delusional she was feeling at the time. Really I don't see what's stopping her from saying 'planet earth sword' if she decided she was the honored one lol. Asa even thought the trick would have worked with Old Age's dimension if their powers weren't nullified.
