He can only be brought back to life if he dies. Like, that's why it's classified as immortality. He isn't dying here. He's just getting knocked out cold for an hour or so.

It's different messages but it doesn't neccessarily mean killed.
Plus, player can get pistol whipped and I'm pretty sure at best it just knocks you out and according to the Pistol Whipping page on wikipedia, speficially forensics, it states:
"The practice was seen as a means of avoiding fatal confrontations. Instead of opening fire, an officer could knock someone unconscious with the barrel of their revolver which they claimed lowered mortality rates."

Keyword: lowered, not completely prevent mortality. Also, using real life as a basis when we're arguing about fictional characters with superhuman strength isn't very helpful.

Because it's also a tournament style game mode where you get knocked out of the activity. You'd basically have to argue that the protag can only ever be KO'd with that logic since there's no difference between the police normally and that.

I mean while I don't condone bullying people here simply for having powerscaling takes that you deem bad, I do think this trend can be pretty funny. Plus, I don't anyone genuinely believes the site has perfect/logical ratings for every character here anyway, so it's not like this trend is inherently going against the beliefs of VsBattles users themselves. I was more thinking on him being a mascot who's used in every other popular roblox game. I don't think he's really an issue but i can see staff raising a brow at it in the future if more roblox profiles appear, especially more builderman profiles.
